De most őszintén, annyira nehéz csak egy kedvencet választani a The Elite Kings tagjai közül. Egyszerűen nem tudok. Na jó, lehet, hogy Nate az. Lehet, hogy nem mindig érek vele egyet, de attól még imádom. :D ♥

Őszintén megmondva, nagyon nehéz ennek a könyvnek a cselekményéről bármiféle spoiler nélkül beszélni, szóval szerintem én leginkább a karakterekre és a kapcsolatuk elejére fogok fókuszálni.

Ezt a könyvet LEHET egyedülálló kötetként is olvasni, azonban én mindenkinek azt ajánlanám, hogy a legelsővel, a The Silver Swan című regénnyel kezdjetek. Ez, a The Broken Puppet és a Tacet a Mortuis egy másik párt helyez a középpontba (Madison&Bishop), és bízzatok bennem, nem akarjátok kihagyni az ő történetüket sem. Csak arról győződjetek meg, hogy mielőtt belekezdenétek az olvasásba, hogy nincs semmi fontos teendőtök aznap, mert nemigen akarjátok majd letenni ezeket a könyveket egészen addig, amíg az utolsó sort el nem olvastátok. És itt most a Malum utolsó sorára gondolok. Ami a negyedik kötet. Igen, ez a sorozat nagyon a függőjévé tud tenni, és én már az vagyok.

Szóval, a Tacet a Mortuis végén volt egy jelenet, ami teljesen lesokkolt. Annyira nagyon-nagyon-nagyon-nagyon sok kérdés maradt bennem. És azt hittem, hogy a Malum megjelenésével majd minden megoldódik. Ha. A közelében sem járok a válaszok megtalálásának. Most csak még több kérdésem van, mint amennyi volt. :D

Nate és Tillie története egyáltalán nem egy tündérmese. Nagyon, de nagyon nem. Ohhh, nem is lehetne ennél messzebb ennél a fogalomnál. Sötét. Csavarokkal teli. És sötét. NAGYON sötét. NAGYON-NAGYON sötét. Ez pedig nagyon is fontos mindenki számára: nem való mindenkinek. Nagyon sötét, nem egyszerű témákkal. Őrült. Őrületesen jó.

Boys like Nate are lethal, because you fall for their charm, their jokes, and their beautiful faces. By the times you find yourself lost in their darkness with their demons lurking around you, it’s too late. They suck you in with charisma and spit you out with sin.

Nate már a The Silver Swan során megnyert magának. A napokban ezt a könyvet újra is olvastam, de aztán megkaptam a recenziós példányomat, így nem folytattam a többi regényt. Eredetileg azt terveztem, hogy a Malum megjelenése előtt újraolvasom mind a három regényt, de Nate jött és győzött.

Már a könyvek első olvasása során alig vártam, hogy az ő történetét is olvashassam. ♥ Róla eddig nem annyira sokat tudhattunk meg, viszont most igenis megmutatja magát. És nagyon is meg tud lepni. Ohhh, de mennyire nagyon. Imádtam az érzelmesebb oldalát is, van a regényben egy bizonyos jelenet, aminek az olvasása során kisírtam a lelkemet, a szívem majd megszakadt értük. Nate-ért. Tillie-ért. És még valakiért, akinek nem mondom meg a nevét, mert spoiler lehet. De ez a jelenet... Kikészített. Már előtte is voltak olyan pillanatok, amikor megkönnyeztem őket, de ez... Egyszerűen ki sem tudom fejezni magam.

Tillie egy nagyon vagány, badass, kitartó, abszolút zseniális főhősnő. Imádtam az előző kötetekben is, nagyon szimpatikus volt. Elképesztően zseniális. Nagyon ritkán lehet olvasni olyan erős női karakterekről, mint amilyen ő is, úgyhogy köszönöm Amo, hogy megalkottad őt. ♥ Szerintem nagyon összeillenek Nate-tel, egyszerűen nem tudom senki mással sem elképzelni őket.

Éééés szerencsére a többiekből is kapunk jó sokat. A The Elite Kings tagja, csakúgy mint mindig, rejtélyesek, és ettől csak még többet akarok belőlük. Bishop és Madison párosa most is érdekes, bár néha leginkább azt akartam, hogy Madi valamilyen úton-módon végre észhez térítse Bishop-ot. És természetesen volt valaki, aki nagyon felidegesített, de Instagramon úgy láttam, hogy nem csak én vagyok így vele. Nem spoilerezek, de nem tudom, hogy mi lett ezzel a karakterrel.

Mindent figyelembe véve, ha szeretitek a sötét (NAGYON sötét) témájú könyveket, akkor ne fussatok semerre, adjatok ennek a sorozatnak egy esélyt. Le a kalappal Amo előtt, megint megcsinálta. Türelmetlenül várom a következő megjelenését. Kérlek ne ölj meg minket megint egy függővéggel. Miért van egy olyan érzésem, hogy megint ez fog történni?

Guys, this book totally ruined me.

This story ruined me so f-cking much.

I don't know what I will do until the release of Malum - Part Two.

Honestly, it is so hard to pick a favourite from The Elite Kings. I just can't. Okay, maybe Nate. Sometimes I do not agree with him but I still love his face. :D ♥

My mind is blown.

To be honest, it is really hard to talk about the plot without any major spoilers. So maybe, I will just mostly focus on the characters and the beginning of their relationship.

This book CAN be read as a standalone, however, I personally recommend you to start with the first one, The Silver Swan. This one, The Broken Puppet and Tacet a Mortuis focus on a different couple (Madison&Bishop), but trust me, you wanna read those books too. Make sure that you don't have to do anything really important that day when you start reading this series, because you won't be able to put it down until you read the very last line. I mean the very last line in Malum. Which is the fourth book. Yeah, this series is absolutely addictive, and I am addicted to it.

So, at the end of Tacet a Mortuis, there was a scene that absolutely shocked me. I had so so so so many questions. And now, that Malum is released, I thought I will get my answers. Ha. Not even close. Now, I even have more questions. :D

Nate and Tillie's story is not a fairy tale. Not even close. Ohhhh, it could not be any more far away from that notion. It is dark. And twisted. And dark. VERY dark. VERY-VERY dark. Guys, this is very important: this book and I think it is true for the whole series - it is not for everyone. It is so dark. And insane. But insanely good.

I have already fell in love with Nate in the previous books. A few days ago I reread The Silver Swan, then I received my advance review copy of Malum, so basically, I dropped everything and started reading it. My plan was to reread the whole The Elite Kings Club series before the release date of Malum, but then Nate came and changed my plans.

After reading the first book in this series, I could not wait to read his book too. ♥ Until that point, we did not really get to know him, but now... Oh boy, he shows who is he. Who is the real Nate. And he will surprise you. Very much. I loved his kinda emotional side too, there is a scene in this book that totally broke my heart into tiny pieces, and I cried so hard for Nate and Tillie and for someone, whose name I don't want to tell you, because it can be a spoiler. But this scene... Ohhh, it ruined me. Before that, I cried a little, but when that happened... I can not even express myself.

Tillie is a really cool, badass, determined, and absolutely genious heroine. I adored her in the previous books, she is such an amazing character. Incredibly genious. I think we can very rarely read about a female character who is as strong as Tillie, so thank you Amo for creating her. ♥ I really do think that they are so perfect together, and I can not imagine them with any other characters.

Aaaand fortuantely, we can read a lot about the other characters too. The Kings are still mysterious and because of that, I want more and more and more. Bishop and Madison are interesting and amazing together, however, sometimes I just wanted Madi to slap Bishop. And there was a character who I didn't really like (okay, I hated that character), and after seeing a lots of posts on Instagram, I found out that I am not the only one. Honestly, I don't know what happened with that person.

Run, princess.

Taking everything into account, if you love dark romance (VERY dark), do not run away, go give this series a chance. Hats off Amo, you did it again. I am impatiently waiting for the next one. Please don't kill us with another cliffhanger. Why do I have a feeling that it will happen?
