Még mielőtt nagyon belemerülnék az értékelésbe, valamire fel szeretném hívni a figyelmeteket. FIGYELEM: Ne, ismétlem NE kezdjétek el anélkül olvasni ezt a könyvet, hogy meggyőződnétek arról, hogy van a közeletekben nagyon sok papírzsebkendő. Hogy miért? Hát, valami olyasmi történik ebben a könyvben, ami miatt én képes voltam egy órán keresztül sírni. És ez egyáltalán nem vicc vagy túlzás, tényleg így történt. Zokogtam, sírtam, és számtalan alkalommal meg kellett állnom olvasás közben, mert annyira nem tudtam visszatartani a könnyeimet, hogy nem is láttam tőlük semmit. És ez nem csak vele történ meg, több olvasó, aki már túl van a Baby Mine-on hasonlókat tapasztalt, szóval nem csak én voltam ilyen nagyon elérzékenyülve olvasás közben.
Ui.: Köszönöm szépen Laura, avagy @shitofareaderslife, hogy meghallgattál, mikor olvasás közben több üzentel bombáztalak. ♥ Így sokkal könnyebb volt megküzdeni azzal a rengeteg érzelemmel és azzal a függővéggel is. :D (Megjegyzés: Mire én elkezdtem olvasni a Baby Mine-t, ő már rég befejezte, szóval már tudta, hogy mi fog történni és annyira jó volt vele erről a könyvről beszélni. Oh, és mellesleg ő már meg is osztotta a saját blogján az értékelését erről a regényről, katt ide, ha el szeretnétek olvasni. ♥)
Ha már megemlítettem, igen, hatalmas függővéggel zárul a könyv. Az esetek többségében, amikor egy Kennedy Fox könyvnek a végére érek mindig ugyanaz a kérdés fogalmazódik meg bennem. Szóval, khm, MI VOLT AZ A BEFEJEZÉS??

Amikor azt az egyetlenegy mondatot elolvastam, csak ültem ott az ágyamon és nem akartam elhinni, hogy ez most tényleg megtörtént. Többször is újraolvastam, csakhogy meggyőződjek róla, nem-e értettem félre valamit. De nem. Nagyon is az történt, amire senki az égvilágon nem számított. Én még most sem tudom elhinni. És ebbe mi a legszörnyűbb? MÁJUS 20-IG KELL VÁRNI A FOLYTATÁSRA. Igen, május 20-ig. Ez a nap a Baby Yours hivatalos kiadási napja. Na jó, lehet, hogy most egy kicsit azért túlzok, hiszen ez nem jelent olyan sok várakozást, csupán kevesebb mint egy hónap és eljön ez a nap is. Őszintén megmondva, én nagyon-nagyon örülök neki, hogy ilyen hamar ki fogják adni a folytatást. Megtehetnék, hogy sokkal később publikálják (kérlek ne, nem bírok ki még több várakozást :'D), de ez a két írónő annyira nagyon nagyszerű, hogy néhány héten belül már a kezeink között is lehet a második kötet. ♥ Nagyon remélem, hogy a folytatásokra sem kell majd sokat várni. Eddig nem is tudtam, hogy Hunter és Lennon után mely karakterek lesznek a középpontban, viszont néhány nappal ezelőtt megkerestem a sorozatnak a Goodreads oldalát, és így rá is jöttem. Viszont lehet, hogy most egy hatalmas hibát követtem el, mert most csak még izgatottabb lettem. :D Annyira imádom ezeket a karaktereket. ♥
De most egyenlőre elég is ebből, a későbbiekben még sokkal többet fogok beszélni a karakterekről és úgy mindenről, de most inkább ugorjunk is bele a Baby Mine. Öveket bekötni, elég intenzív utazás vár ránk.

So, are you hot for Hunter?

Szerintem úgy lesz a legjobb, ha ezt az egész értékelést a Forever Mine-nal kezdem. Ha esetleg nem tudnátok, hogy mi is ez, röviden és tömören: alapjában véve, ez az egész Roommate Duet-nek az előhangja. Nem szükséges elolvasnotok, mivel teljesen más karakterek vannak a középpontba, ők pedig Savannah és Hayden. Velük majd a Baby Mine során is találkozhattok, szóval ha van egy kis időtök, akkor olvassátk el ezt is, mert annyira egy imádnivaló kis történetről van szó. Hayden Hunter bátyja, szóval őt már ebből a novellából is ismerhetjük. A kettejük kapcsolata igazán lenyűgöző és különleges, nagyon közel állnak egymáshoz és igazán jó testvérek, nagyon szerettem róluk olvasni.

Savannah egy zseniális főhősnő volt, abszolút meg tudtam érteni őt, és hogy miért dönött úgy ahogy. Az ő és Donny barátsága pedig A LEGOBB. ÚRSITEN ez a pasi számtalanszor képes volt mosolyt csalni az arcomra, rengeteget nevettem miatta.

Sav és Hayen egyszerűen tökéletesek együtt. Annyra nagyon boldog voltam, amikor összejöttek, , és tejóég az az epilógus!!! Szavakkal ki sem tudom fejezni, hogy mennyire fantasztikus volt. ♥

Szóval igen, egy nagyon imádnivaló novelláról van szó, azonban én személy szerint sokkal jobban örültem volna annak, ha a Forever Mine is egy teljes hosszúságú kötet, de már annak is nagyon örültem, hogy ilyen módon betekintést nyerhetünk Sav és Hayden múltjába, én nagyon szerettem ezt a történetet. ♥ Tőlem 4.5 csillagot kap.

Oh, majdnem elfelejtettem megemlíteni a legfontosabbat: A FOREVER MINE INGYENESEN BESZEREZHETŐ. Természetesen nyomtatott könyvként is elérhető (ára: $6.99), viszont az ebook az teljesen ingyenesen letölthető. Kattinstatok ide, és a link átirányít titeket a novella Amazon oldalára.

És most pedig ugorjunk is bele a Baby Mine-ba. ♥ Hunter és Lennon először abban a bárban találkoznak, ahol Hunter dolgozik. Ebben az időben még mindketten egyetemisták, és amikor először meglátják egymást, akkor mindkettőjüknek tetszik az, amit látnak. Hunter egyszerűen nem tudja levenni a szmét Lennon-ról, és mindig abban reménykedik, hogy a lány még egyszer vissza fog jönni egy italért és így még többet tudnak kettesben beszélgetni.

A levegő kettejük között szinte szikrázik, azonban az este nem egészen úgy ér véget, ahogy azt Hunter szeretné. Néhány hónappal később egy lakásban laknak, azonban ők közel sem alkotnak egy párt. És itt jön egy kis csavar: Brandon, aki nem csak Hunter lakótársa és már nagyon régóta a legjobb barátja, egyben Lennon barátja is, és ők ketten egy igazán komoly kapcsolatban vannak. Már egy ideje Lennon is velük lakik, azonban ez a lakótárs dolog nem egészen problémamentes.

Brandon és Lennon azon a bizonyos estén találkoztak legelőször, amikor Hunter és Lennon, viszont valami történt, és a lány hazamegy Brandon-nal. A következő nap nagyon hamar rájön, hogy Hunter Brandon lakótársa, és Hunter szinte egyből ellenségesen viselkedik vele. És ez az ellenségeskedés nem múlik el. De valóban ennyire utálná Hunter Lennon-t? Vagy mindez csak féltékenység? Mi történik akkor, amikor egy tragédia gyökeresen megváltoztatja az életüket? Megtudhatjátok, ha elolvassátok Kennedy Fox Baby Mine című alkotását. ♥

I face her with brows perked up. “What’s wrong with you?” I laugh. “He’s hot, so it’s okay he’s a stalker?”
She pinches her lips and rolls them from side to side, bobbing her head. “Essentially.”

Nem szeretnék senkinek semmit sem lespoilerezni, ezért is igyekeztem rövidre fogni a történet összefoglalóját. Minden apróságra nektek kell rájönnötök, és ezt az élményt nem szerettem volna elvenni tőletek. Elég göröngyös út áll előttetek, de bízzatok bennem, nagyon is megéri elolvasni. ♥

Már ezelőtt is rengeteg Kennedy Fox könyvet olvastam, és eddig mindegyik képes volt megsiratni, és ilyenkor nem néhány könnycsepp és ennyi féle megsiratásról beszélek, hanem arról a nagyon intenzív, zokogós sírásról. Minden a Bishop Brothers sorozattal kezdődött, ez volt a legeslegelső, amit ettől a duótól olvastam, és ezóta vagyok igazán nagy rajongóuk. Csak néhány kedves és aranyos szó, néhány érzelmesebb pillanat és ennyi, megállíthatatlanul potyognak a könnyeim. Viszont a Baby Mine ezt az egészet egy teljesen új szintre emelte. A szívem majd megszakadt. Teljesen összetört ez a történet. Másrészről viszont, ez egy igazán csodálatos könyv, egy igazi kincs, egy érzelmi hullámvasút.

A szívem darabokra tört, de Kennedy Fox szépen lassan visszaillesztette a helyükre ezeket az elveszett darabkákat csakhogy néhány fejezettel később ismét újra mindent összekuszáljon. Annyira boldog voltam, hatalmas mosollyal az arcomon olvastam, és aztán BUMM! Abszolút nem számítottam erre. És itt már csak magamat tudom ismételni: MI VOLT EZ A BEFEJEZÉS? Ne, kérlek ne. Ez nem történhet meg. Csak ne.

Beszélhetnénk egy picit arról, hogy mennyire gyönyörűsges a Baby Mine borítója? Csak egy egészen picit? Mert szerintem kifejezetten tökéletes. ♥ Én nagyon imádom, elképesztően szépséges lett.

És a karakterek? ELKÉPESZTŐEK. Hunter egy tökéletes könyves álompasi, imádtam az ő szemszögéből olvasni. Már a Forever Mine során nagyon megszerettem, most viszont egyenesen ellopta a szívemet. Brandon... Oh Brandon. Ha már csak rá gondolok, megszakad a szívem. Lennon egy igazán nagyszerű főhősnő, remélem, hogy minden rendben lesz vele.

A mellékszereplők pedig egyszerűen NAGYSZERŰEK. Imádtam Lennon testvéreit, Maddie-t és Sophie-t, már most alig várom, hogy az ő történeteiket is olvashassam. ♥ Liam és Mason? TISZTA TÖKÉLETESSÉG. ♥ BELŐLÜK MÉG TÖBBET AKAROK. ♥

Mindent figyelembe véve, Kennedy Fox egy újabb műalkotással örvendeztette meg az olvasóit, ami miatt szem nem marad szárazon, az biztos. Ez a könyv tipikusan az az ugly cry típus, és ha valami nagyon érzelmes és igazán egyedi történetre vágytok, akkor adjatok egy esélyt a Baby Mine-nak. Nem fogjátok megbánni. Minden egyes pillanatát imádni fogjátok.

Számomra ez egy öt csillagos olvasmány volt. ♥ Elképesztően izgatottan várom a Baby Yours és az összes többi Roommate Duet kötet megjelenését. ♥

Before I really jump into reviewing this book, let me tell you something. EPIC WARNING: do NOT start this book without making sure that you have a lot of tissues near you. Trust me, you will need them. Why? Something happens in this book, and because of that I was crying like for an hour. I am not kidding. I was sobbing, and crying and I had to stop so many times because I just couldn't hold back my tears and because of that I couldn't read. And this happened with lots of other readers who have already read Baby Mine, so it's not just me being too emotional.
PS.: Thank you so so much Laura, aka @shitofareaderslife, for listening to my ramblings while I was reading this book. ♥ It was easier to deal with those emotions and that cliffhanger together. :D (Side note: By the time I started reading Baby Mine, Laura has already finished it, so she knew what would happen, and it was so amazing talking with her about this book. Oh, yeah, it does end with a cliffhanger. I ask the very same question almost every time I read a Kennedy Fox book, and now I will ask it too. So, khm, WHAT WAS THAT ENDING??

JUST NO.
THIS CAN'T BE REAL.
When I read that one single sentence I just sit there and then I need to read it several times again to make sure that I did not misunderstand it. Oh, no. I did not. That's what happened. Still can't believe it. The real struggle? WE NEED TO WAIT UNTIL MAY 20TH. Yes, May 20th. That's when Baby Yours will be published. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little, beause it is less then a month away. To be honest, I am very-very glad that they will release it that soon. They could publish it later (please don't do it, I can't handle any more waiting :'D), but they are so super nice and they will publish it within a few weeks. ♥ I hope they will also publish the next books soon. I didn't know who will be the main characters in the third and the fourth book, but a few days ago I checked out this series on Goodreads and I found it out. Well, it was kind of a mistake, because now I am even more excited. :D I just love these characters. ♥
So now, enough of my ramblings, I will talk a lot more about the characters and everything, but now let's just jump into Baby Mine. Buckle up, it will be an intense ride.

So, are you hot for Hunter?

I think it is the best if I start this review with Forever Mine. If you don't know what it is, basically it is a prelude for the Roommate Duet series. You don't have to read it, because it focuses on totally different characters, Savannah and Hayden. You will meet them in Baby Mine too, so if you have time to read it, please do so it was so adorable. Hayden is Hunter's big brother, so you can already get to now him, and I absolutely adored them. Their relationship is so amazing, they are really close, both of them are super awesome brothers, it was so special and I loved reading about them.
Savannah was a fantastic heroine, I totally understood her and her decision. Her and Donny's friendship was THE BEST. OMG I love that guy so much, he made me smile and laugh out loud so many times.
Sav and Hayden are so perfect together. I was so super happy when they were together again, and OMG that epilogue!!! That epilogue is everything. ♥
So yeah, it was a cute little novella, however, I would be happier if Forever Mine was also a novella, but I'm glad that we got a little glance into Sav & Hayden's past, I loved it. ♥ It gets 4.5 stars from me.

And now, let's dive into Baby Mine. Hunter and Lennon first meet in a bar, where Hunter works. At that time, they are both in college, and when they see each other, they really like what they see. Hunter just can not take his eyes off Lennon, and he always hopes that she will go back for another drink and they can talk a little bit more.

The chemistry between them is sizzling hot, but the night does not turn out the way Hunter wants. A few months later they find each other living in the same apartment, but they are not together. Here comes a twist: Brandon, who is not just Hunter's roommate and best friend for a long time, but at the same time, he is Lennon's boyfriend, and they are in a serious relationship. For a few months now, Lennon lives with them, but this roommate thing is not the easiest for them.

Brandon and Lennon also met at the very same night she met Hunter, but something happened, and she decided to go home with Brandon. The next day, she finds out that Brandon's roommate is Hunter, who instantly hates her. And that hate does not fade away. But does it really hate? Or just jealousy? What happens when a tragedy change their lives forever? You can find out if you read Baby Mine by Kennedy Fox. ♥

I really do not want to spoil anything for anyone, so that's why I want keep that summary short. You need to find out everything for yourself and I do not want to ruin it. Trust me, there is a bumpy road ahead of you, but it is so worth it. ♥

I have already read so many Kennedy Fox books, and so far, all of these made me cry, and I am not talking about that few teardrops and that's all kind of stuff, I am talking about ugly crying, sobbing and everything. It all started with the Bishop Brothers, those books made me really adore their books, and since then I am a huge fan. Only a few sweet words or some cute moments and that's all, I'm crying like a baby. But Baby Mine took this to a whole new level. I was crying my heart out. My heart broke. But on the other hand, this book is a gem, it was so beautiful, an emotional roller coaster.

My heart shattered into pieces, but Kennedy Fox put these lost and broken pieces back into their places just to mess everything up a few chapters later. I was so happy, I had a huge smile on my face, and then BOOM! I didn't see it coming. I can repeat myself: WHAT WAS THAT ENDING? No, please no. This can't be real. Just can't.

Can we ust talk about how amazing is that cover? Just a little bit? Because it is perfect. ♥ I adore it, it's so gorgeous.

And the characters? AMAZEBALLS. Hunter is a perfect book boyfriend, I really liked his POV. I already loved him in Forever Mine, but he totally stole my heart in Baby Mine. Brandon... Oh Brandon. Oh my heart. If I think about him, my heart breaks. Lennon is an amazing heroine, and I really hope that everything's gonna be alright.

The side characters are EVERYTHING. I absolutely loved Lennon's sisters, Maddie and Sophie, I can't wait to read their stories. ♥ Liam and Mason? PURE PERFECTION. ♥ I WANT MORE OF THEM. ♥

Taking everything into account, Kennedy Fox brings us another masterpiece that will make every reader bawl out their eyes. This is definitely that ugly cry type of story, and if you want something super emotional and unique, go for Baby Mine. You won't regret reading it. You will love it to pieces.

For me, it was absolutely a five stars read. ♥ I am so super excited for Baby Yours and the rest of the Roommate Duet. ♥
