Már ez egy jó kezdet, nem? ;) ) Néhány nappal ezelőtt, egy nap erejéig az írónő ingyenesen beszerezhetővé tette ezt a regényt, és szerencsére én is le tudtam csapni rá, és szinte azonnal el is kezdtem olvasni. Hát, mondhatjuk, hogy nehéz volt letenni. Igen, kevesebb mint egy nap kellett ahhoz, hogy teljesen a végére érjek. Zach és Delia története tökéletes lesz azoknak az olvasóknak, akik valami igazán imádnivaló, romantikus és elképesztően vicces könyvre vágynak. Ez a regény telis-tele van humorosabbnál humorosabb pillanatokkal, amelyek garantáltan mosolyt fognak csalni mindenki arcára. EL KELL OLVASNOTOK. Miért is? Nézzük csak.

A könyv női főszereplője a 21 éves egyetemi hallgató, Delia Devlin. Ez az utolsó éve, nagyon szorgalmas, de másrészről viszont nem igazén tudja, hogy mi is lesz akkor, ha befejezi tanulmányait. A történet legeslegelején még párkapcsolatban van, azonban azt nem igazán mondhatjuk, hogy ők ketten így együtt boldogak, egyáltalán nincs megy köztük az a bizonyos szikra.
Egy nap, kap ez üzenetet, viszont a küldő telefonszáma egyáltalán nem ismerős számára. Ennek ellenére válaszol, hiszen azt hiszi, hogy az egyik családtagja a küldő, és az üzenet tartalma miatt is erre a következtetésre jut. Nem sokkal később azonban rájön, hogy nagyot tévedett. A pasi - Zach - , akivel beszél felhívja őt, és ekkor derül ki mindkettejük számára, hogy itt valami nagy félreértés történhetett.
Zach:
You're such a responsible wrong number.
Me:
Are you calling me boring?
Zach:
No... But also maybe yes. There is nothing inherently wrong with that. I'm
boring too.

A történet másik főszereplője a 25 éves applikáció tervező Zach Hastings. Mostanra ő már kifejezetten sikeres a szakmájában, azonban ez egyáltalán nem volt mindig így. Egyszer, azt gondolva, hogy az egyik ügyfelének ír, küld egy üzenetet, de ez Delia-nál köt ki. Szóval ő is hasonló helyzetben van, mint a nő, hiszen sokáig ezt a hibát egyikőjük sem veszi észre. Miután erre rájönnek, mindkettejük nagy meglepetésére, nem hagyják abba az üzenetek küldözgetését, hanem továbbra is folytatják a beszélgetést.
I
burst into laughter.
“If
you think you’re going to Slytherin to my bed with those on, you’re wrong. I
only allow full-fledged Hufflepuffs in there.”
Zach
glances down at his underwear and hangs his head. “Why did I have to wear this
pair today? Why?”
“What?
I think they’re hot.”
“You
think my Harry Potter underwear are hot?” I nod. “You are my dream girl.”

We’re
lying face to face in the middle of the bed, the blanket draped over our
waists, grinning at each other like fools.
“What?”
I whisper.
“I
made it in.”
“What?”
I ask again, confused.
“Your
special Hufflepuff-only chamber of secrets.”
“Did
you really just…” Laughter consumes me and I’m rolling to my back and covering
my face in embarrassment…for him. “You are such a nerd, Zach.”
A legtöbb ember, ha egy olyan üzenetet kap, aminek a küldőjének a száma egyáltalán nem ismerős, általában ignorálja ezeket, nem foglalkoznak vele, de legfőképpen, nem válaszolnak. Delia és Zach esetében ez már a kezdetekben sincs így, de miután minden kiderül, még azután is folytatják az üzengetést. Sokáig csak így beszélnek, nem hívják fel egymást. Ők ketten alapvetően bármiről képesek beszélni, egyáltalán nem számít nekik, hogy mi a téma, órákon át képesek írogatni akármiről. Ezekkel az üzenetváltásokkal jobban megismerik egymást, barátokká válnak, megosztják a gondolataikat, hogy mi történet velük az adott nap, tanácsokat adnak és még sok minden más is beszédtémává válik. Oh, és flörtölnek. Mármint, rengeteget flörtölnek. Nagyon-nagyon sokat. Annyira imádtam a könyv üzenetes részeit, rendkívül viccesek voltak, nagyon sokat nevettem ezeken (de tényleg nagyon sokat), ezek ketten egy igazán jó párost alkotnak.
Zach:
Do you want to build a…

SNOWMAN. IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE A SNOWMAN.
Zach:
No. I hit send too soon. Stop it.
Kettejük üzeneteken keresztül való beszélgetése hetekig folytatódik, ám egy ponton felkerül a találkozás kérdése is. Delia először bizonytalan, nem tudja eldönteni, hogy mi lenne a helyes döntés: az, hogy ha végre személyesen is találkoznak Zach-el, vagy inkább az, hogy megmaradnak csak a virtuális ismertségnél. Végül aztán mégis belegyezik, és eljön az a pillanat is, amikor ő ketten először látják meg egymást. És ohh... Ettől kezdve csak még érdekesebb az egész történet. Az első "randijuk" közben azt az érzést keltették, mintha már évek óta ismernék egymást, pedig még csak néhány órája látták meg először a másikat, és csupán csak néhány héttel ezelőtt kezdtek el beszélgetni. Delia és az előző barátja között már nem volt meg az a bizonyos szikra, viszont Zach és közte szinte azonnal perzsel a levegő. Sok közös van bennük, de mégis vannak dolgok, amikben nem értenek egyet, tudnak újat mutatni a másiknak, tökéletesen kiegészítik egymást. Mi lesz kettejük történetének a vége? Ez a regény egyszerűen lenyűgöző. Először is, nagyon tetszett az írónő stílusa. Ahogy már fentebb is említettem, imádtam az üzenetes részeket, annyira viccesek és flörtölősek, ezek a legnagyobb kedvenceim, bár azokat is kifejezetten szerettem, amikor már személyesen is együtt voltak. Szóval igen, az egész történetet nagyon-nagyon imádtam.
A karaktereket is megemlítve, ők egytől egyig ZSENIÁLISAK. Delia egy elképesztően jó humorérzékkel rendelkező, igazán intelligens és nagyon badass nő, aki mindig kimdoja azt, amit gondol. A legjobb barátnője és egyben a lakótársa az a barát, akire mindenkinek szüksége van. Zoe egy rettentően vicces, támogató, élettel teli energiabomba, és már annyira várom, hogy az ő történetét is olvashassam. I Wanna Text You Up a sorozat második kötete, viszont mivel más pár áll a középpontban, ezért egyedülálló kötetként is teljesen olvasható. Habár, én mindekit, aki szeretné elolvasni, bátorítom arra, hogy sorrendben olvassa a könyveket, mert így még teljesebb az élmény. És akkor még nem is beszéltem Zach-ről... Oh, hello új könyves álompasim! ;) ♥ Ő annyira tökéletesen tökéletlen, okos, magabiztos (jó és vicces értelemben véve), egy gamer...és ahh... Imádom. Már alig várom, hogy újra találkozhassak vele a következő regényekben. Mellettük még nagy kedvencemmé vált Robbie (az ő történetére is nagyon kíváncsi vagyok), Zach szülei és természetesen Marshy, Graham Cracker és Milk Chocolate (igen, ők a pici kecskék). ♥

Ahogy már a bejegyzés címéből is kiderül, a könyvhöz írt az írónő egy rövid novellát is, amit teljesen ingyenesen el is olvashattok a weboldalán (IDE kattintva megtalálhatjátok a kis történetet.) Annyira nagyszerű ez a kis apróság, csak még jobban hozzáad a történethez, még jobban imádnivalóvá tette. Még egy előny: Zach nézőpontjából van elmesélve, és talán már csak emiatt is ez egy picit még különlegesebb. Imádtam, hogy végre így is olvashattam egy picit, teljessé tette az egészet.

Mindent figyelembe véve, mit is írhatnék még? Fentebb már mindent kifejtettem. Ez a könyv úgy teljesen jó, ahogy van, a Let's Get Textual Valentine's Day Short csak még jobban hozzáad az egészhez. Ez a regény nagyon hamar az egyik legnagyobb kedvencemmé vált, és csakúgy ilyen gyorsan, Teagan Hunter is az egyik kedvenc írónőm lett. Már most kíváncsi vagyok, hogy mi fog történni a következő kötetekben.
Egyáltalán nem kérdés számomra, hat csillagos kedvenc lett. ♥

Let's Get Textual by Teagan Hunter deserves all the 'super cute smiling baby goat' stars. (Yup, there are baby goats. Good start, isn't it? ;) ) A few days ago, it was free for only a day and fortunately, I managed to get it, and I have instantly started it. Well, let's just say that it was hard to even put it down. Yeah, I finished it less than a day. It was that good. Zach and Delia's story is a perfect choice for everyone who wants to read something adorable, romantic and extremely funny. This book is full with hilarious moments, it will definitely put a smile on your face. It is a MUST READ. Why? Let's see.

Delia Devlin is a 21 years old university student. It is her last year, she is a senior, she is very hard working, but on the other hand, she does not know yet what she want to do after graduation. At the very begining of the story, she is in a relationship, but they are not happy, there is absolutely no spark between them.
One day, she receives a text message, but she does not recognise the number. Anyway, she responds, because she think she know who is the sender. Not so later, she finds out that she was wrong. The guy she talks with - Zach - calls her and they find out that there was a big misunderstanding.
Zach:
You're such a responsible wrong number.
Me:

Zach Hashtings is a 25 years old app designer. Now, he is very successful, but that was not the case at the beginig of his carreer. One day, he send a message, and he thinks that that number belongs to one of his clients. But he is, just as Delia, wrong, because they text each other. Zach think he is talking to his client, and Delia think she is talking to one of her relatives. After they find out that they were writing to each other for the whole time, they talk, and surprisingly, they continue talking.

Most people, if they receive a message from an unfamiliar number, they just move on, they do not care and most importantly, they do not respond. After Zach and Delia find things out, it is not the case with them. They continue texting, and for a long time, they just do that, they don't really call each other. They can talk about basically everything, it does not matter for them, they can discuss anything for hours. They get to know each other, they become texting friends, they share their thoughts, they talk about their days, give advice and etc. Oh, and they flirt. Like, a lot. A really-really-really lot. I absolutely loved the texting parts of the book, these are so much fun, I laughed a lot (like, a really lot), these two are a perfect match.

They are talking continously for weeks, and at one point, the question of meeting pops up. Delia is uncertain, she does not know what would be the best decision: to meet with Zach or to not to meet with him, and just stay texting buddies. Finally, she agrees, and they firstly see each other in person. And ohh... After that, the story is even more exciting and interesting. During their first 'date' and after that too, it feels like they have known each other for years and not for only a few weeks. Between Delia and her ex-boyfriend, there was no spark at the begining of the story, but betwenn Zach and Delia... oh, yes, there is a lot more than a little spark. It is a whole firework. They have so much in common, but they can also show new things to each other, they can argue on different things, and it feels that they truly belong together. What happens with them? You can find out if you read Let's Get Textual by Teagan Hunter.

This novel is simply amazing. Firstly, I really loved the author's writing style. As I have already mentioned, I adored the texts messages, these are so much fun and flirty, these are my absolutely favourite parts in the book, but I loved when they were together, and not just texting. So yes, I really loved the whole book.
Talking about the characters, they are GENIOUS. Delia is such a funny, intelligent and badass woman, she says what she really thinks. Her best friend and roommate at the same time is the type of friend everyone needs. She is so much fun, supportive, full of energy, and I am super excited for her story. I Wanna Text You Up, the second book in the series, is about her. It can be read as a standalone, but I encourage you to read these books in order. And then, there is Zach... Oh, hello my new book boyfriend! ;) ♥ He was perfectly imperfect, he is so smart, full with himself (in a good and funny way), a gamer, and ahh... I just love him. Can't wait to see him again in the next books. Besides them, I really-relly liked Robbie (also can't wait to start his story too), Zach's parents and, of course Marshy, Graham Cracker and Milk Chocolate (yes, they're the little goat babies). ♥

As you can see it in the blog post's title, the author wrote a short novella for Let's Get Textual, and it is a Valentine's Day story. You can read it for free on her website (CLICK HERE to read). It is so awesome, it gives the whole story a plus, made it more adorable. Another advantage: it is told by Zach's point of view, and maybe because of that, it is a little bit even more unique. I loved that I could read and see things from his POV, it really made the story whole.

Taking everything into account, what else should write? I explained why I love this book above. Let's Get Textual is super fantastic and Let's Get Textual Valentine's Day Short just made it even more phenomenal. This book easily became one of my biggest favourites, and Teagan Hunter is now one of my favourite authors. I already can't wait to continue reading this series.
It is absolutely not a question for me at all, six stars favourite. ♥
