L. H. Cosway Fauxmance című zseniális regénye a napokban jelent meg. Ez a könyv a Showmance című sorozatának a második kötete, viszont teljesen egyedülálló kötetként is olvasható, mivel más és más pár áll a középpontban mind a kettő esetében.

Olvasás után az első reakcióm: Hűha! Meg kell, hogy mondjam, egy igazán egyedi regényről beszélünk. A könyvmolyok számára mi is jobb annál, ha a főhősnő is könyvszerető? Bizony, Ellen is az, sőt még egy kicsit több is annál, de ez majd kiderül a könyvből mindenki számára. Hogy tovább fokozzam: a férfi főszereplő is szeret olvasni. Kell ennél több?

A könyv egyik főszereplője Ellen Grant, aki egy hatalmas könyvmoly. Imád olvasni és még egy kis helyi könyvesboltban is dolgozik. Kedves, rendkívül tehetséges, de egyben nagyon félénk is. Mármint, tényleg nagyon félénk. Akkor nincs semmi problémája, ha olyan emberekkel beszélget, akik igazán közel állnak hozzá, de viszont, ha egy teljesen idegennel kell társalognia, na az már más tészta. Mondhatjuk, hogy talál egy módot ennek a kiküszöbölésére, ami számára kifejezetten jól működik, egészen addig, amíg nem találkozik egy bizonyos Julian nevű férfivel…

Julian Fairchild férfi prostituáltként dolgozik, de ő ennél sokkal, de sokkal több. Nem csupán erotikus szolgáltatásokat nyújt, ő jobban szereti először megismerni a partnereit, imád velük beszélgetni, a téma lehet szinte bármi, Julian szívesen osztja meg a véleményét mindennel kapcsolatban és nagy érdeklődéssel hallgatja a nőket. Szeret emberek társaságában lenni, szóval egy igazi közösségi ember. Én pedig ezeket rettentően szerettem benne. Annyira kedves, segítőkész, egy igazán nagyszerű ember, egy tökéletes book boyfriend rengeteg érzelemmel, amiket nem is fél kimutatni – vagyis, leginkább az esetek többségében, de ezt ti is meg fogjátok érteni, hogy pontosan mire is gondolok itt, ha elolvassátok a regényt.

Ellen és Julian először egy kávéházban találkoznak, és ezután sem szakítják meg a kapcsolatot. Ez pedig azzal jár, hogy a férfi szépen lassan elkezd rájönni Ellen féltve őrzött titkára. Julian nagyon szeretne segíteni neki, és a nő – bár egy kissé bizonytalanul – de elfogadja az ajánlatát. A férfinek hála Ellen rájön, hogy ő is egy nagyon jó ember, és, hogy rengeteg nagyszerű dolog található a komfortzónáján kívül. Mi fog történni velük? Mi is Ellen titka? Vagy titkai? Megkapják a saját happy endjüket? Minden egyes felmerülő kérdésetekre választ kaphattok, ha elolvassátok L. H. Cosway Fauxmance című regényét.

Személy szerint nekem nagyon-nagyon tetszett ez a könyv. Imádnivaló, romantikus és kifejezetten érzelmes. A karakterek zseniálisak, szinte majdnem mindegyikőjüket sikerült megkedvelnem. A főszereplők nagyon szimpatikusak, együtt pedig borzasztóan szerethetőek. Mellettük szeretném még megemlíteni a mellékszereplőket is, hiszen ők is fantasztikusak: David, Alicia, Nick, Cameron, Damon, Rose és Suze. Remélem, hogy ők is megkapják majd a saját könyvüket (Damon és Rose története már korábban megjelent, Showmance címmel találhatjátok meg). Főleg David története miatt reménykedem, kíváncsi vagyok, hogyan is alakul az ő élete. Na és persze még ott van Cameron is. ♥

Mindent egybevéve, a Fauxmance egy rendkívül jól megírt regény, különleges, szórakoztató, szenvedélyes és elképesztően romantikus. Akik egy nem mindennapi történetet szeretnének olvasni, azoknak nagyon tudom ajánlani.

Fauxmance by L. H. Cosway was released a few days ago. This is the second novel in Showmance series, but it can be read as a standalone, because both book focuses on different couples.

My first reaction after finishing it: Wow!! To be honest, it was a really unique story. What is better for a bookworm than reading about bookworms? Yes, the heroine is a huge book lover, but she is a little bit more than that, but you will find this out if you read it. Moreover, the male main character also loves to read. What can be better than that?

One of the main characters is Ellen Grant, who is a huge bookworm. She likes to read and even she works in a little local bookshop. She is kind, talented, but also shy. Like, really shy. She can only speak confidently with people who are close to her, but to the others… Well, not really. Ellen finds a way to solve it by herself, and it kinda works out until Julian dicovers the truth…

Julian Fairchild works as a male escort, but he is much more than that. He does not only give erotic moments to his clients, he really likes to get to know them better, likes to talk to them, has real conversation with them about anything, so he is such a social person. And I really like these in him. He is so kind, helpful, a really good person, a perfect book boyfriend, he has so many emotions and he is not afraid to show them – well, most of the time, but you will understand that, if you read this fantastic novel.

Julian and Eve meet in a coffee shop, they continue to see each other, and slowly he discovers her secret. He really wants to help her, and she – uncertainly – accepts his offer. He helps her to find her true self and shows her that there are lots of fun things in the outside of her comfort zone. What happens with them? What is Ellen’s secret? Or secrets? Do they get their happily ever afters? Well, if you read Fauxmance by L. H. Cosway, you will find out.

Personally, I really-really like that novel. It is cute, romantic and so so emotional. The characters are brilliant, I love them. I adore the main characters, together they are adorable. Besides them, David, Alicia, Nick, Cameron, Damon, Rose and Suze are also amazing characters, I really hope that we can read more about them (Damon and Rose’s story is already released, this book is called Showmance, it is the first book in this series). Especially about David, I’m super excited for him! Oh, and for Cameron. ♥

Taking everything into account, Fauxmance is a really well-written novel, it is unique, entertaining, passionate, and so romantic. If you want to read an unusual story (and I mean it in a very very great way), don't look any further, Fauxmance will be perfect for you.
