Mielőtt bármibe is nagyon belemerülnénk, egy dolgot már biztosan kijelenthetek: Emma Hart a romantikus-humoros könyvek királynője. Én személy szerint nagyon imádom a könyveit, de talán jelenleg a legnagyobb kedvencem a Best Served Cold. A Best Served Cold az írónő legújabb, vicces és néha már kínos pillanatokkal teli második esélyes, utálatból-szerelem témát középpontba helyező regénye. A történet kerek egész, nem kell semmit sem elolvasnotok előtte, egyedülálló kötet. Ráadásul, pontosan a mai nap folyamán jelent meg. Remélem, hogy az írónő számára csodálatos ez a mai nap. ♥

Őszintén megmondva, ez a legeslegédesebb könyv, amit valaha is olvashattam. És ezt teljesen komolyan is gondolom: telis-tele van romantikusabbnál romantikusabb pillanatokkal, és emellett, a fagyi is nagy szerepet játszik benne, szóval ez csak még édesebbé tette az egészet. De tényleg, a fagyi mindenféle formában megtalálható benne. Unikornis fagylalt. Sellő fagylalt. Hercegnő fagylalt. Ez a regény arra késztet majd, hogy egyél egy kevés fagyit. Ráadásul, milyen aranyos és csajos ez a borító? Az írónő összes könyvének borítója mindig olyan szép, de valamiért nekem ez a kedvencem.

Szóval, ha van nálatok egy kicsi vagy ha nincs, csak kezdjétek el ezt a könyvet olvasni. Ha szeretitek az ilyen könyveket, akkor ezt is fogjátok.

Raelynn Fortune és Chase Aarons már egyáltalán nem idegenek egymás számára, már messze vannak ettől, közös múltjuk is van. Két teljes évig jártak együtt, tökéletlenül tökéletes párnak számítottak, nagyon jók voltak együtt. Azonban, történt valami, ami miatt szakítaniuk kellett.

Az egész történet évekkel a kettejük szakítása után kezdődik. Raelynn-nek van egy saját kis üzlete, fagyit árul, ugyanis mindig is ez volt a legnagyobb álma. Ennek ellenére, egyáltalán nem megy úgy minden, ahogy azt ő szeretné. Nincs elég vásárlója, sőt, azt is mondhatjuk, hogy alig-alig akad egy. Hogy mi lehet a probléma? Talán az, hogy egy másik fagyizó nyílt, közvetlenül az övé mellett. Ki lehet a tulajdonos? Nem más, mint Raelynn exe, Chase. Lehet még ennél is rosszabb a helyzet? Ó, hát hogyne lehetne...

„Even ice melts over time, Rae.”

„What does that mean?”

His lips twitched. „If you keep playing with fire, even your heart will melt.”

I blinked at him, then threw the remaining few mouthfuls out of my bottle at him. (…)

Chase hatalmas hibát követett el, és ennek az árát most megfizeti. Már rájött arra, hogy sokmindent másképpen kellett volna csinálni, azonban ezeken már nem tud változtatni, szembe kell néznie a problémáival és megoldást találni rájuk. Chase határozott, tudja hogy mit akar, és ő Rae-t akarja visszakapni. Raelynn viszont nem kíváncsi sem rá, sem a magyarázataira, azonban a férfi egyet biztosan tud: nem fogja feladni. Próbálkozik, és meglátja, mi sül ki belőle. Mi miatt szakítottak? Mi fog velük történni? Sikerül kibékülniük? Újra együtt lesznek, vagy már csak barátokként képesek folytatni? Emma Hart minden egyes alkotása egyedi, felfrissítő, szórakoztató, rendkívül vicces és kifejezetten romantikus. Ilyen lett a Best Served Cold is. Abszolút olvasmányos, imádom az írónő írásmódját, letehetetlenné teszi az összes kötetét. A karakterek - csakúgy, mint mindig - elképesztően jók. Raelynn hamar az egyik legkedvencebb könyves főhősnőmmé vált, tetszett, hogy okos, független, erős, és ami a szívén, az a száján, egyáltalán nem fél kimondani azt, amit gondolt. Emellett, nekem kifejezettten tetszett a neve is, még soha nem olvastam olyan könyves szereplőről, akit így hívtak volna, és ez szerintem még egy picit különlegesebbé tette az egész történetet. És akkor még ott van Chase is... Oh, Chase, ő annyira, de annyira zseniális, nagyszerű és annyira minden. ♥ Mellettük még nagyon jó karakterek voltak Raelynn nagyszülei és a legjobb barátnője, valamint Chase húga is. Emma Hart rendkívül tehetséges a karakterek megalkotása terén, egyszerűen olyanokkal dolgzik, akiket nem tudsz nem szeretni.

Mindent figyelembe véve, új hat csillagos kedvencet avattam, ez pedig Emma Hart Best Served Cold című könyve. Ez a regény egyszerűen káprázatos. Nagyon romantikus. Ámulatos. Elképesztően vicces. Meglepően aranyos. Édes. Imádnivaló. Érzelmes. Ezt a felsorolást még tudnám folytatni, és számtalan jó dolgot tudnék még mondani erről a kötetről, de ez a lista elég hosszú lenne. Ha szeretnétek egy humoros-romantikus könyvet olvasni, akkor ne is keressetek tovább, ez tökéletes lesz számotokra. Ha pedig befejeztétek, akkor kezdjetek el valami más is az írónőtől. Imádni fogjátok minden egyes alkotását. ♥

Now, I really do think that one thing is official: Emma Hart is the queen of romantic comedies. I absolutely adore her novels, but probably Best Served Cold is my biggest favourite right now. Best Served Cold, a new, super funny, hilarious second chance and rivals-to-lovers standalone by Emma Hart was just released today! Happy release day, I hope you have a wonderful day. ♥

Honestly, this book is the sweetest book I have ever read. And I mean it: it is so so soooo romantic, full with adorable moments, and there are ice creams. Unicorn ice creams. Mermaid ice creams. Princess ice creams. All kinds of ice creams. This novel make me want to have and ice cream. Also, how cute and girly that cover is? All of her covers are always so beautiful, but this is my favourite. It is absolute perfection.

So, if you have some ice cream, grab it, and let's just dive into this amazing romcom. Have fun!

Raelynn Fortune and Chase Aaron have a history, they are far from strangers. They have dated for two years, and they were perfect together and perfect for each other, they had a really good relationship. However, something had happended, and they broke up.

The whole story starts years after their break up. Raelynn has her own ice cream shop, which was always her dream. She adores making ice creams, loves trying out new flavours, and to be honest, she is pretty talented, everybody loves her ice creams. Unfortunately, her business is not the best, she has some problems. What is that problem? Well, there is another ice cream shop right next to hers. The owner? He is her ex, Chase. Can it be worse? Oh yes, it can be, and it is worse than that...

Chase made a huge mistake, and now, he has to face the consequences. He realized that what he did was wrong, and he is willing to do basically anything to make things right. He is determined, he know what he wants, and he wants Rae back. On the other hand, Raelynn does not want to talk to him and she does not want to be anywhere near him. However, Chase won't give up. He tries and tries, because he wants to give another chance to their relationship. Why did they break up? What happens with them? What happens in the end? Will they be together or they will be just friends? You can find out if you read Best Served Cold by Emma Hart.

All books by Emma Hart are always so unique, fresh, entertaining, very funny and and romantic. And I can say all these things about Best Served Cold, too. It was so easy to read, I love her style, she made it impossible to put it down. The characters - as always - are excellent. Raelynn easily became one of my favourite bookish heroines, she is so smart, independent, talented, strong and she does not afraid to say out loud what she really thinks. Also, I really like her name too, I have never read about a character named like that, and because of that, this book is even more extraordinary. And here is Chase too... Ohh, he is so awesome and fantastic and everything. ♥ Besides them, I liked Raelynn's grandparents and her best friend (I really hope that she will have a book, too), and Chase's sister. Emma Hart always creates so amazing characters you can not not love.

Taking everything into account, I have a new six stars favourite, and it is Best Served Cold by Emma Hart. This book is simply magnificent. So romantic. Dreamy. Super funny. Surprisingly Cute. Sweet. Adorable. Emotional. I could continue this list and write more amazing things about this novel, but it is almost endless. If you want to read a romcom, do not look any further, this will be perfect for you. If you finished it, continue with another one by this author. You'll love every one of her books. ♥
