Vincent és Eve története csodálatos, a harmadik kötet is ugyanolyan nagyszerű lett, mint az előző kettő. A Redemption egy szívdobogtató, eszméletlenül jó, lélegzetelállító, intenzív, izgalmas, zseniális regény. Lenyűgöző az elejétől egészen a végéig. A Reckoning után már alig vártam, hogy olvashassam, és tudjátok mit? Teljesen megérte várni rá. ♥ Az egyik legeslegjobb New Adult sorozat, amit valaha is olvastam. 6 csillagos kedvenc lett.

„Are there snakes?” I ask nervously. „I’m not down with snakes.”

„Nah,” he shakes his head. „I mean, they exist. But chances are slim we’ll see any.”

„Slim, like, slim to none? Or slime, like, there’s a possibility greater than two percent?”

(…) „Chill, city girl. I’ll be with you the whole time. Nothing to be afraid of when I’m with you, yeah?”

Ha még esetleg nem olvastátok volna a sorozatot, akkor azzal szeretném kezdeni, hogy a Redemption a sorozat zárókötete, az előző két könyvben megismert Vincent és Eve történetét folytatja a kötete. Emiatt, hogy egy teljes egész történetet kapjatok, el kell olvasnotok a Rising és a Reckoning című könyveket is. Mindkettő nagyon függővéges, de mivel már néhány napja megjelent a befejező rész is, így lehet egyben olvasni őket.

A Redemption hét évvel a Reckoning eseményei után játszódik, akik olvasták már ezt a könyvet, pontosan tudják, hogy miért is ennyi idő telt el a kettő között. A pontos okot nem fogom elárulni, nagyon spoileres lenne, ha elolvassátok, akkor meg fogjátok tudni.

Hét év rengeteg idő, és már sem Vincent, sem pedig Eve nem az, aki volt. Megváltoztak, mind a ketten más és más okok miatt. Eve megvalósította az álmát, abban a szakmában dolgozik, amelyre mindig is nagyon vágyott, jobbra fordult a helyzete, ő viszont nem elégedett, amit teljesen meg is lehet érteni. Bár imádja a szakmáját, olyanok a körülmények a munkahelyén, amik jócskán megnehezítik a helyzetét, rettentően sokat kell küzdenie az elismerésért és az egyenlő bánásmódért, amit még úgy sem kap meg, hogy már bizonyította, igenis tehetséges abban, amit csinál. Ha ezek a problémák még nem lennének elegek, akkor jön a legnagyobb és legváratlanabb meglepetés: Vincent visszatér az életébe, és nem is akárhogy, Eve pedig egyszerűen nem akar hinni a szemének.

„You’re my life,” he growls. „My everything. Do you know that?” (…) „I’ve been dreaming of you nonstop. In every move I make. It’s always you. Only you. Since you, there was no one else. Do you hear me?”

Vincent már réges-rég megfogadta: akármi is lesz, vissza fogja szerezni Eve-t. Mindig is szerette, tisztelte, mindig őt helyezte az első helyre, ő a legfontosabb számára, és ezt sosem félt kimutatni. Most pedig mindent megtesz azért, hogy újra együtt legyenek, mindent hajlandó megtenni azért, hogy újra megbízzon benne. Véleményem szerint, Vincent és Eve az egyik legeslegjobb könyves páros, akikről olvastam. Annyira nagyon összeillenek, mindketten nagyon remek és szerethető karakterek, tökéletesek egymásnak és nagyon jól működnek együtt. Sok időt töltöttek külön, megváltoztak mind a ketten, ez teljesen egyértelmű, felnőttek, érettebbek lettek. Viszont ez nagyon, de nagyon jót tett mind a kettejüknek, Vincent és Eve esetében is pozitív volt ez a fejlődés és ezt annyira jó volt látni.

Ha már így belementem a karakterek elemzésébe: Janelle bár most egy picivel kevesebb szerepet kapott, szerintem még mindig ugyanolyan nagyszerű, imádtam őt is, remélem, hogy egyszer az ő történetét is egyszer olvashatjuk. Tom még olyan rejtélyes nekem, ezért még jobban felkeltette az érdeklődésemet. Új karaktereket is kaptunk bőven, akiket egyszerűen nem lehet nem szeretni. Lauren és Slade is hatalmas kedvenceim lettek.

„Only me and you. Forever.”

Anélkül nehéz beszélni erről a könyvről, hogy mindent le nem spoilereznék, ezt viszont nem akarom megtenni. Mindenkinek magának kell megismerni ezt a csodálatos történetet, mindent előzetes információ nélkül. Nagyon remélem, hogy rengeteg olvasó rá fog találni erre a sorozatra, ezek a könyvek és az írónő is teljes mértékben megérdemlik a figyelmet.

„I went through hell and back, and your face kept me alive. I told you all those years ago I would never be done with you. That I’d kill for you. Die for you. And baby? I’m no liar. You can be scared right now. You can be nervous. You and me, Eve, we’ll never be over. And now that shit is finally clear out here, you’re deluding yourself if you think I’ll ever walk away from you again.”

Ha csak nagyon röviden kellene jellemeznem ezt a regényt, akkor azt mondanám, hogy méltó befejezést kapott a sorozat. Mindent egybevéve: vegyes érzéseim vannak. Örülök, mert ez a regény sokkal jobb lett, mint amit reméltem, csodálatos volt, nagyszerű lezárása Vincent és Eve történetének. De egyben szomorú is vagyok, viszont csak azért, mert ezzel végére is értünk a sorozatnak. De micsoda vég volt az!

Jessica egy elképesztően tehetséges írónő, még mindig nem tudom elhinni, hogy ezek voltak a legelső publikált alkotásai. Őszintén, már alig várom, hogy még többet és többet (és még ennél is többet) olvashassak tőle. ♥

Számomra ez nem is kérdés, 6 csillagos kedvencem lett. ♥ Fantasztikus, egyszerűen fantasztikus.

Vincent and Eve's story is beautiful, and Redemption is as amazing as Rising and Reckoning. It is a heart pounding, mindblowing, breathtaking, surprising, intense, exciting and brilliant conclusion. Awesome from the beginning to end. After I've finished Reckoning, I couldn't wait to read it, and you know what? It was totally worth the wait. ♥ Vincent and Eve by Jessica Ruben is New Adult at it's finest. 6 stars favourite.

If you have not read this series at all yet, let me start with a little info: Redemption is the third book, and it follows the story of Vincent and Eve, and the previous novels also focuses on this couple. So, you need to read Rising and Reckoning first in order to fully enjoy Redemption. Both novels have cliffhangers at the end, but it is not a problem now, because the series is complete and you can start to binge-read it.

Redemption takes place seven years after Reckoning, if you have read the first two books in the series, you know why there is so much time between these. I won't tell you the reason, because it would include major spoilers; if you read it you will know.

Seven years are a lot of time and lots of thing happened, and Vincent and Eve are not the same persons they used to be. They changed a lot, both of them because of different reasons. Eve's dream comes true, she has a job she always wanted to have, her situation is better than it used to be, even so she is not entirely happy. She adores her job, but at her workplace, there are some people who makes her life a littbe bit difficult. She works hard, is very enthusiastic, but for their colleagues, it is not enough. She has to fight for equation, but it is very hard for her. If these problems are not enough, a huge surprise barges into her life: and he is Vincent, and Eve can not believe that he is there.

“You’re my life,” he growls. „My everything. Do you know that?” (…) „I’ve been dreaming of you nonstop. In every move I make. It’s always you. Only you. Since you, there was no one else. Do you hear me?”

Vincent never stopped loving Eve, and he promised himself that they will be back together. He always respected her, put her for the first place, she is the most important person in his life, and he was never afraid to show his feelings. And now, he is willing to do basically anything to get her back and to make her trust in him again. I really do think that Vincent and Eve is one of the best bookish couples I have ever read about. They are a perfect match, both of them are awesome and loveable characters, they are perfect for each other. They spend so much time separately, and it is obvious that they change a lot, but it was very-very positive. They become more wiser and more mature, and it was so good to see.

Now, because I am so into writing about characters: Janelle is as amazing as she was, however, she has a little bit less role in this book. I reall liked her in all the novels, I hope that one day we can read more about her. Tom is a huge mystery for me, but that made me more curious. Fortunately, there are some new characters too, and they are super amazing. I absolutely loved Slade and Lauren.

It is hard to write about Redemption without spoilers, but I do not want to ruin this book for anyone. Reders have to explore this story by themselves and not because of spoilers. I really hope that more and more book lovers will find this series and will love it. Vincent and Eve, and also Jessica too, very deserve more attention.

If I had to introduce this book to you in a few words, I would say that it is a perfect conclusion for Vincent and Eve's story. Taking everything into account, I have mixed feelings: I'm super happy, because this novel is more than I could ever hoped for, it was wonderful, it is an amazing clonclusion. But also, I am sad, because it was the end. But what an end was it!

Jessica is a very talented author, I still can't believe it was her first published series ever. Honestly, I can't wait to read more and more (and even more) books by her. ♥

It is not a question for me, I give Redemption 6 stars. ♥ Fantastic, simply fantastic.
