2018 nagyszerű év volt.
Először is, sikerült teljesítenem az erre az évre kitűzött olvasási célomat, ami az volt, hogy még az év végéig 100 könyvet elolvassak. Ez a szám a mai napra 111 lett. Emiatt is rengeteg új írónőt sikerült felfedeznem, és szerencsére közül sokan is lettek nagy kedvenceim.
Június végén bezártam az előző könyves blogomat és így született meg ez, és ezt a döntésemet egyáltalán nem bánom, azt érzem, hogy most ez a blogom sokkal rendezettebb, mint az előző volt. Imádok az olvasási tapasztalataimról írni, júniustól kezdve decemberig kereken harminc értékelést sikerült posztolnom. Annyira örülök neki, hogy ezek elnyerték a tetszéseteket, sokszor kapok olyan üzenteket, hogy egy-egy könyvsorozatot vagy regényt az én véleményezős posztom hatására kezdtetek el olvasni. ♥ Ez nagyon sokat jelent nekem, remélem ti is annyira szeretitek ezeket a könyveket, mint amennyire én. Továbbá, nem is olyan régen egy új posztsorozatba kezdtem bele, ami a Borítóháború. Ez a blog egyik legsikeresebbje, elmondhatatlanul örülök neki, hogy szeretitek ezeket a bejegyzéseimet. Imádom minden egyes posztomat írni, az pedig egy hatalmas plusz, hogy nektek ezek tetszenek. ♥
Egy másik dolog, ami nem blogos, viszont a könyvekkel nagyon is kapcsolatban áll, az a bookstagram-om. Idén februárban újra elkezdtem fotózni, és annyira imádom ezt az egészet. Nyáron pedig könyves-idézetes képeket is elkezdtem szerkeszteni, és annyira örülök, hogy ezek is elnyerték a tetszéseteket. ♥
Az Instagram profilomnak az újraindulásával még egy nagyszerű dolog történet velem: rengeteg új barátom lett. ♥ Imádok velük beszélgetni, megosztani a könyvekről a véleményeinket, annyira inspirálóak, imádom mindegyikőjüket. ♥ Csakúgy mint az összes követőmet, olvasómat. Köszönöm szépen mindenkinek a sok támogatást, kedves üzenetet, hihetetlenül sokat jelentenek ezek nekem. Ti ezt az évet csak még csodálatosabbá tettétek nekem. Kíváncsian várom, hogy miket tartogat 2019 a számunkra. ♥
Már ahogy fentebb is említettem, ebben az évben több mint száz könyvet sikerült elolvasnom, és néhány kedvencemet szeretném veletek is megosztani. Nehéz döntés, imádtam ezeket a regényeket, viszont készítettem egy olyan listát, amelyben azokat soroltam fel, amelyek leginkább a felejthetetlen kategóriába tartoznak a számomra. Nagyon és őszintén tudom mindegyiket nektek ajánlani.
Szóval itt is van néhány a legkedvencebbeim közül, teljes mértékben véletlenszerű sorrendben:
Karina Halle: A Nordic King
I have a home in your heart and a love
that won’t stop bleeding. I need you in my life, you are my life, you are my
sun that I’ve waited too many winters for.
Ez a regény elképesztően szépséges.
Kívül-belül. A borítója, és úgy általában a teljes külseje nekem nagyon
tetszik, imádom ezt a gyönyörű kék árnyalatot, a rózsaszínnel annyira jól
mutatnak együtt. A borítón látható modell szerintem kifejezetten tökéletes Aksel
számára, jobbat el sem tudnék képzelni. Egy ilyen külső már szuper indítás, az
pedig, ami benne van, az valami teljesen lenyűgöző. Hihetetlenül lenyűgöző.
Számomra ez sokkal több volt, mint egy romantikus történet. Önállóság,
veszteség, gyász, a gyász feldolgozása mind a felnőttek esetében, mind
gyermekkorban, és emellé jön még a szerelem is, ami szavakkal nem lehet
kifejezni, hogy milyen szép Aurora és Aksel esetében.
R. S. Grey: Hotshot Doc

Matt making that cup of coffee is
arguably the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen a human do. It’s like when you see a
hot dude holding a puppy. Alone, both things are adorable. Together, they’re
unstoppable. I try to contain my enthusiasm. There’s no need to drool on his
wooden farmhouse table.
Ez a könyv magáért beszél. Hihetetlenül
káprázatos. A karakterek zseniálisak, Rachel írásmódja kifejezetten lenyűgöző,
én nagyon szeretem az ő történeteit olvasni. Ezúttal is egy szépséges
történetet adott ki a kezei közül. A Hotshot Doc egy elképesztően
szívmelengető, elbűvölő, vicces, ellenállhatatlan romantikus-humoros történet,
amit bárkinek, aki szereti az utálatból-szerelem/orvosos könyveket nyugodtan
tudok ajánlani. Ez lesz a legújabb legnagyobb kedvencetek.

Vincent and Eve című könyvsorozata több mint tökéletes lesz számodra.
Ez a sorozat egyszerűen MINDEN.
Egyszerűen lenyűgöző.
Nem sok ilyen könyvet ismerek, mint a
Rising és a Reckoning. Az egyik percben még fülig érő mosollyal az arcodon
olvasol, azt hiszed, hogy minden tökéletes, aztán jön egy akkora csavar, amire
egyáltalán nem számítottál.
Meglepő. Össze fog törni. Aztán, ahogy
szépen halad előre a történet, úgy lassan ismét reménykedsz, újra a helyükre
kerülnek a darabkák. De vajon ott is maradnak?

ANNYIRA NAGYON FANTASZTIKUS LETT. ♥
Talán ez volt az utolsó olyan olvasmányom, amit 2018 során kezdtem el és ebben
az évben is fejeztem be, és szerintem kifejezetten tökéletes befejezése volt
ennek az évnek. Aaaaanyira vicces volt, és nagyon úgy gondolom, hogy a Nothing
Personal a romcom kategória egyik legjobbja. Az egyik legviccesebb regény, amit
valaha is olvashattam. Az egész napomat feldobta. Elképesztően humoros, 100%-ig
biztos vagyok benne, hogy minden egyes olvasónak mosolyt fog csalni az arcára.
És itt most a fültől fülig érő mosolyról beszélek. Biztosan nagyon meg fog
nevettetni. Ez tipikusan az a nagyon hangosan nevetős történet.
Teljes szívemből tudom ajánlani azoknak
az olvasóknak, akik szeretik a romantikus-humoros, valamint a második esélyről
szóló könyveket. Ha pedig még azokat is szeretitek, amelyekben az egyik
főszereplő egy egyedülálló apuka, és a munkahelyi szerelem is fontos eleme a
történetnek, akkor csak még inkább tudlak biztatni titeket arra, hogy
olvassátok el. Ez egy elképesztően romantikus regény rengeteg, de tényleg
rengeteg humoros pillanattal megfűszerezve, és olyan karakterekkel van tele,
akiket egyszerűen nem tudsz nem szeretni. Adjatok neki egy esélyt. Nagyon
megéri.

Én már a Taming Him olvasása óta rá
vagyok függve a Kennedy Fox könyvekre, ezóta számomra nincs megállás, szóval ha
elkezditek készüljetek fel rá, hogy már a legeslegelső mondattól kezdve a a
bűvkörébe vesz titeket a könyv, és ha egyszer elkezditek, 100%-ig biztos vagyok
benne, hogy nem tudjátok és nem is akarjátok majd letenni, amíg be nem
fejezitek (és nem csak ezt az egyet, hanem az összes többit is). Ez a sorozat kirobbanóan jó és sokkal, de
sokkal forróbb, mint a texasi levegő. Legyetek készen: elég intenzív utazás vár
rátok! A Bishop testvérek minden, amire csak egy romantikus regény kedvelőnek
szüksége van. Alex teljesen le fog nyűgözni benneteket és le fog venni a
lábatokról, Evan miatt egyre többet és többet akartok majd, John története
olvasása közben nem győztök majd mosolyogni és ábrándosan sóhajtozni, Jackson
pedig visszavonhatatlanul el fogja rabolni a szíveteket. ♥♥♥♥
A Taming Him, Needing Him, Chasing Him
és a Keeping Him is olvasható önálló kötetként, de ezt egyáltalán nem javaslom.
Egy zseniális élménytől fosztanátok meg magatokat, ha nem sorrendben
olvasnátok. Ez a sorozat sorrendben ad egy nagyszerű kerek egész történetet. A
Bishop testvérek el fognak varázsolni benneteket, és majd csak még többet és
többet akartok belőlük.
Amo Jones: The Elite King’s Club

A The Elite King's Club a tökéletes definíciója a függőséget okozó könyvsorozatoknak. Mert ez bizony az. Egy-egy kötet befejezése után egyszerűen nem tudsz másra gondolni, sőt, nem is akarod, hogy vége legyen, csak még tovább és tovább akarod majd olvasni. Ha pedig a végére értél, akkor azonnal folytatni akarod, ha pedig még nem jelent meg a folytatás, akkor szinte már visszaszámolod a napokat az adott rész megjelenéséig.
Minden dark romance rajongónak kötelező. Ez a legjobb ebben a kategóriában. Viszont leginkább csak 18 év felett tudom ajánlani. Szókimondó, sokszor fordulnak elő benne trágár kifejezések, erotikus jelentek is bőven vannak benne, szóval ezt vegyétek figyelembe, ha el szeretnétek kezdeni.
L. J. Shen: Dirty Headlines
Cry me a river, baby. I’m Célian.
Eddig szerintem ez volt a legeslegjobb könyv, amit L. J. Shen írónőtől olvashattam. Már amikor még először bejelentette a megjelenését akkor nagyon kíváncsi voltam rá, pedig akkor még csak tényleg éppen néhány szóval jellemezte az egész történetet, mégis nagyon megfogott. Türelmetlenül vártam a megjelenését, és 1000000%, hogy megérte várni rá, nem véletlenül írtam azt az első mondatban, amit. Imádom az írónő könyveit, de szerintem jelenleg ez a legkiemelkedőbb alkotása. Ha még nem olvastátok, akkor nagyon tudom ajánlani.

Személy szerint, én igazán úgy gondolom,
hogy Teagan Hunter egy elképesztően tehetséges írónő. Az a stílus, ahogy az
egész történet meg van írva, nagyon letehetetlenné teszi az egész könyvet. A
karakterek még mindig fantasztikusak és elképesztően humorosak, az egész regény
tele van humorosabbnál humorosabb jelenetekkel, és persze van egy váratlan
fordulat is, amire egyáltalán nem számítasz, ami nagyon, de nagyon meg fog
lepni. Az üzenetek még mindig a legeslegjobbak, úristen, ezeken nevettem a
legtöbbet.
Ez a könyv is már a legeslegelején
teljesen beszippantott és egészen a végéig fogva is tartott. Felfrissítő,
egyedi, ritkán találkozni ilyen típusú regénnyel. Ha egy igazán jó
humoros-romantikus olvasmányra vágytok, akkor őszintén tudom ajánlani az I
Wanna Text You Up-ot, de előtte mindenképpen olvassátok el a sorozat első
kötetét is, bízzatok bennem, nem fogjátok megbánni.
Kennedy Fox: Checkmate Duet
“This is war, King.”
“Game on, princess.”
Kennedy Fox az egyik legeslegkedvencebb
íróm, a Bishop Brothers című sorozatukkal teljesen levettek a lábamról, most
pedig Travis és Viola érzelmekkel teli történetének az első részével abszolút
lenyűgöztek. Ha szeretitek az olyan könyveket, amelyekben a főszereplők
ellenségekként kezdenek, majd ez az utálat kettejük között átalakul szerelemmé,
akkor a This is War a ti könyvetek.
Szavak nincsenek arra, hogy mennyire szerettem
ezt a könyvet. Ahogy már fentebb is
említettem, ez a két írónő hatalmas kedvencem lett, és ezt most a Checkmate
nyitókötetével csak még jobban fokozták. A This is War rendkívül jól meg van
írva, nagyon olvasmányos az egész, imádom az írónők stílusát.
Charleigh Rose: Rewrite the Stars

Nem akarjátok tudni, hogy a könyv könyv befejezése után hányszor hallgattam meg Zac Efron és Zendaya Rewrite the Stars című számát. De annyira illik a történethez ez a dal. ♥

De most komolyan, a könyv elolvasás után
még mindig teljesen szótlan vagyok, nem tudom rendesen kifejezni, hogy mennyire
is szerettem Charleigh Rose ezen alkotását. A Rewrite the Stars... Ez a könyv
egyszerűen minden, amit reméltem, hogy lesz, és még egy kicsivel több is.
Kicsivel? Nem, ez ennél sokkal, de sokkal több. Charleigh Rose egy ZSENIÁLIS
ÍRÓNŐ, igen, így nagybetűkkel. Evan és Sebastian története az elejétől a végéig
lenyűgöző, elképesztően jól felépített és nagyon egyedi.
A Rewrite the Stars-t legjobban ezzel a
négy szóval tudnám jellemezni: csodás, varázslatos, érzelmes és
lélegzetelállító. Azt nyugodtan ki merem jelenteni, hogy Charleigh Rose egy
igazán tehetséges írónő. A karakterek nagyon jók, szerintem kifejezetten
valóságosak, könnyen lehet velük azonosulni. Az írásmód egyszerűen szép,
gyönyörűbbnél gyönyörűbb mondatokat, gondolatokat lehet benne találni. A könyv
borítója engem már az első pillanattól kezdve lenyűgözött, ezzel a könyvvel
kapcsolatban minden nagyon a helyén van.
R. Scarlett: Filthy Gods
I examined the risks and you’re worth
the fall.
Szerintem ez volt a legeslegelső olvasmányom R. Scarlett írónőtől, és itt azt volt a legnagyobb gondom, hogy nem hosszabb a regény. Nem éreztem azt, hogy így is befejezetlen lett volna a történet, viszont annyira olvastam volna még tovább. ♥ Imádtam Nathaniel és Juliette történetének minden egyes pillanatát, már alig várom, hogy a következő kötetekben is visszatérjenek és újra olvashassunk róluk.
A többi szereplő ahhh... Szerintem nem sok könyv megjelenését várom így, mint az American Gods sorozat köteteinek a megjelenését. ♥
Laura Thalassa: Rhapsodic
And the mountains may rise and fall, and

Fantasy könyveket mostanában elég ritkán olvasok, viszont ez Instagramon nagyon felkeltette a figyelmemet. Már több bookstagrammer oldalán láttam, és mindenhol csak áradoztak róla. A fülszövegét elolvasva csak még inkább kíváncsi lettem rá, és most, hogy már az első részt elolvastam nyugodtan ki merem jelenteni, hogy: FANTASY RAJONGÓKNAK KÖTELEZŐ. Hihetetlenül meglepő az egész történet. Hamarosan mindenképpen folytatni szeretném, mert tényleg lenyűgöző az egész. Ha csak egy picit is szeretitek a fantasy regényeket, akkor mindenképpen adjatok neki egy esélyt, ezt biztosan meg fogja szerettetni veletek ezeket a könyveket.

B. B. Reid: The Peer and the Puppet
“Once upon a puppet, she spun a tale to

Kedves mindenki, ha még egyáltalán nem
olvastatok B. B. Reid írónőtől és/vagy még nem olvastátok a The Peer and the
Puppet című könyvet, akkor mire vártok? Ez a könyv abszolút megérdemli azt,
hogy sokan olvassák, de vigyázzatok,
mert ha egyszer elkezditek olvasni, akkor már nem lesztek képesek letenni. Én
is majdnem egész éjszaka fent maradtam és olvastam,ez a könyv egyszerűen
letehetetlen.
Four és Ever (annyira szeretem, ahogyan
a neveik összeillenek ♥) az egyik legjobb könyves páros, akiről valaha is
olvastam. Ők ketten tökéletesen tökéletlenek. Four egy nagyon határozott, erős,
céltudatos női karakter, Ever pedig... Ever tipikusan az a karakter, akit
először utálsz, egy kicsivel később már nem tudod eldönteni, hogy szimpatikus-e
vagy sem, néhány oldallal később pedig már egyenesen imádod.
Most pedig egy kicsit írok a
mellékszereplőkről is, mert nagyon, de nagyon érdemes őket megemlíteni. Annyira
NAGY-SZE-RŰ-EK. Érdekes háttérrel és múlttal rendelkeznek, rengeteg lehetőséget
látok bennük. Alig várom már, hogy folytathassam a sorozatot, az egész történet
kifejezetten jó, tele van rejtélyekkel, egyáltalán nem kiszámítható, meglepő,
kíváncsian várom a következő részeket.
J. J. McAvoy: Ruthless People
I’m not now, nor shall I ever be, any
man’s arm candy.
A 2018-as év egyik legmegdöbbentőbb sorozata. Szó szerint olvasás közben csak kapkodtam a fejem, elképesztően eseménydús. És olyan erős, határozott női karakterről, mint Melody, szerintem még sohasem olvastam. De soha. Liam és ő megállíthatatlan párost alkotnak. Arról azért győződjetek meg, hogy nincs semmi nagyon fontos tennivalótok, ha elkezditek olvasni, mert a negyed, ismétlem a negyedik végéig nem is akartok majd mást csinálni az olvasáson kívül.
Ez tipikusan az a könyv, amire azt mondanám, hogy szó szerint beszippant és nem is enged el. De még ha befejezted akkor sem.
Kennedy Fox: Falling for the Playboy
Olivia: LOL thanks. If it gets you two

night, and I said his name in my sleep. And of course, Maverick heard me too!
I’m still embarassed, and he obviously thinks it’s hilarious.

Olivia: I hate you.
Ha követtek engem Instagramon és/vagy
olvastatok már tőlem olyan értékelést, amelyben Kennedy Fox könyveiről írtam,
akkor tudhatjátok, hogy Lyra Parish és Brooke Cumberland közös alkotásai
hatalmas kedvenceim. A két írónőnek a Kennedy Fox-ként való együttműködését
ebben az évben fedeztem fel, és azóta már számos regényhez volt szerencsém
tőlük. A Bishop Brother sorozatukkal teljesen levettek a lábamról, a Checkmate
Duet lenyűgözött, és most, a Bedtime Reads-el csak még jobban bebizonyították
azt, hogy milyen jól is tudnak együttműködni.
Kennedy Fox regényei tipikusan azok,
amiket egyszerűen nem tudsz nem szeretni, és ezellen nem is tudsz semmit sem
tenni. És nem is akarsz. A Falling for the Playboy is ebbe a kategóriába
tartozik. Az írónők írásmódja még mindig elképesztően zseniális. Humorban itt
sem volt hiány, ahogy romantikus pillanatokban sem. A történet második fele még
imádnivalóbb, Maverick már előtte is megszeretteti mindenkivel magát, de ahogy
halad előre a történet, úgy ez az érzés is egyre jobban fokozódik. Imádtam,
hogy bár mindenki azt hiszi, hogy ő az a tipikus nőcsábász, mégsem az, és
sokkal, de sokkal több van benne ennél. Jó volt látni, ahogy nem hagyja, hogy
Olivia csak úgy elsétáljon előle, az pedig különösen tetszett, hogy
szembenézett a legnagyobb félelméve és sikeresen le is győzte azt.
B. B. Reid: Stolen Duet
You want me fight this war to keep you?
So be it.
B. B. Reid nem tud olyan történetet írni, amit ne szeretnék, szerintem ez még a The Peer and the Puppet-nél is jobban tetszett. Ha dark romance rajongók vagytok, nagyon tudom ajánlani. A története zseniális, egyedi, kiszámíthatatlan. Mian nagyszerű és hihetetlenül kitartó és erős főhősnő, Angel esetében nem mindig tudtam eldönteni, hogy most éppen utálom vagy imádom, de ezt majd megértitek, ha elolvassátok. Rendkívül izgalmas, nagyon megéri elolvasni.
Cambria Hebert: BearPaw Resort
Because one day with you is better than
a lifetime without.
Cambria Hebert könyveit egyszerűen imádom, és mindig izgatottan várom az újabb és újabb alkotásait. A BearPaw Resort sorozata csakúgy, mint az eddigiek, hatalmas kedvencem lett. Bellamy nagyszerű női főszereplő, rengeteg borzalmas dolog történt vele, ugyanakkor mégis erős és kitartó maradt. Liam pedig... Oh Liam! ♥ Cambria Hebert-nek kivételes tehetsége van az olyan férfi karakterek megteremtéséhez, akik azonnal belopják magukat az olvasók szívébe. Hát, Liam is ebbe a kategóriába tartozik. ♥
Ennek a történetnek a során azért van miért bőven izgulni, kifejezetten izgalmas az egész. Amúgy is faltam a sorokat, de ezeknél a részeknél csak még jobban.

Az Alabama Summer sorozatnak zseniális megnyitása ez a történet, teljesen egyedülállóként is olvasható, hiszen már a második rész más párt helyez a középpontba. A Where I Belong volt a legelső olvasmányom J. Daniels írónőtől, és szerintem ez pontosan egy olyan könyv, ami után csak még többet akarsz olvasni.

2018 was a fantastic year.
Firstly, I completed my reading goal I set for this year, and it was 100 books. Fortunately, I have read 111 novels during these twelve months. Because of that, I discovered several new authors, and lots of them became my favourite ones.
At the end of June, I closed my previous bookish blog and opened this one, and I really do think that it was a good decision, this blog is much more organised than the other was. I love writing about my reading experiences, from June to December I managed to write thirty reviews. I'm so glad you like my reviews, I receive a lot of messages from you and you wrote to me that you started to read book series or novel because of me. ♥ It really means a lot to me, and I hope you like the books I recommend to you. Moreover, not so long ago, I started a new post series, and this is the Battle of the Covers. Also, this is a huge success, you guys love it, and this really inspire me to continue it. I love to write every single one of my posts. ♥
Another thing, which is not so blog-ish, but this is a huge part of my life right now and it is connected with books, which is my bookstagram page. I started to take photos again in this February, and I absolutely adore it. During this summer, I also started to make some bookish teasers too, and I am super glad you love both my pictures and my teasers.
Another amazing thing that happened with me because of bookstagram: I have a lot of new friends. ♥ I adore talking with them about books and basically anything, they're all so inspiring, I love them so much. ♥ Just as all of my followers and readers. ♥ You're all super awesome, thank you so so much all of your support, kind messages, it really means a lot to me. ♥ I'm so excited for 2019.
As I have already mentioned, this year I managed to read more than a hundred novels, and I wanted to share some of my favourites with you. It was such a hard decision, I loved these books, but I made a list which contains the ones that are really unforgettable for me. I can highly and honestly recommend these books to you.
So, here are my biggest favourites in a completely random order:
A Nordic King by Karina Halle
I have a home in your heart and a love
that won’t stop bleeding. I need you in my life, you are my life, you are my
sun that I’ve waited too many winters for.
This book is simply gorgeous. Inside and
outside. As for the cover, and I mean the full cover, I really-really like it,
I adore this beautiful shade of blue, this and the pink looks awesome together.
The model is absolutely perfect for Aksel, I can not imagine anyone better.
This pretty cover is already a good start, and what is inside the book is even more
fantastic. Amazing. Incredibly amazing. In my opinion, it is more than a
romance story. It is about independence, loss, grief, dealing with grief as an
adult and as a child, and at the same time, it is a beautiful love story. I can
not even tell how mindblowingly beautiful is Aurora and Aksel's love.
Hotshot Doc by R. S. Grey
“Cream?” he asks.
“Please, and don’t scrimp.”
“Sugar?”
I arch a brow. “You’re not going to
lecture me about how bad it is for my health?”
He smirks. “I’m off the clock.”
“Then yes, please. Just a little.”
Matt making that cup of coffee is arguably the sexiest thing I've ever seen a human do. It's like when you see a hot dude holding a puppy. Alone, both things are adorable. Together, they're unstoppable. I try to contain my enthusiasm. There's no need to drool on his wooden farmhouse table.
This book talks for itself. It is
incredibly magnificent. The characters are genious, Rachel's writing style is
pretty impressive, I love reading her novels. This time, she wrote another
beautiful story. Hotshot Doc is a super heart-warming, adorable, charming,
funny, irresistible romcom, and I can highly and honestly recommend it to
anyone who likes to read enemies-to-lovers/hospital-office romance stories.
This will be your next biggest favourite.

Vincent and Eve by Jessica Ruben

Do you like books that made you laugh
and a few chapters later made you cry?

Do not look any further, Jessica Ruben's
book series – Vincent and Eve – will be more than perfect for you.
This series is EVERYTHING. Simply
impressive.
I do not know many brilliant books such
as Rising and Reckoning. One minute, you read with a huge simle on your face
and you think that everything is perfect, and then there is an unexpected
twist, wich surprises you.
Surprising. It will break you. It will
break your heart into million pieces. Then, as the story progresses, you are
hoping that everything will be alright, and the broken pieces finally find
their places. But will they stay there?
Nothing Personal by Karina Halle
“If you think I’m about to turn into
Aquaman, you have another thing coming.”
She grins at me. “All I know is that if
you wanted to dress up as Jason Momoa, I wouldn’t mind.”
“That guy is Hawaiian, isn’t he?”
She nods.
“That fucker. All the women want him
because he can swim.”
She raises her brow. “Yeah,” she says
dryly. “That’s totally the reason why.”
It is SO SUPER FANTASTIC. ♥ Probably
this was the last book I started and finished in 2018, and it was a perfect way
to finish this year, too. It was sooooo hilarious, I really do believe that
Nothing Personal is highly one of the bests in the romcom category. It is one
of the funniest books I have ever read. This novel made my whole day. It's such
a fun read and I am 100% sure that it will make you smile. And I'm talking
about that ear-to-ear type of smiles. And it will totally make you laugh. Laugh
out loud.
I would wholeheartedly recommend it to
anyone who really loves romcoms and/or second chance romances. If you love
single-dad and/or office romance, I would even recommend this novel to you
more. I am pretty sure you will love it. This is such a romantic book with lots
and lots and lots and lots of hilarious moments, full with amazing characters
you can't help but love. Give it a chance. Worth it.
Bishop Brothers by Kennedy Fox
Come and get a ride on the Wild
Stallion, Alex Bishop! Six-foot something, dirty blond hair, and a smart mouth
to boot! He may be a cocky son of a bitch, but don’t worry, his mama taught him
right. He’ll wine and dine you before fucking you till you forget your own
name! Now ladies, who’s first?
My obsession with Kennedy Fox’s books
started with Taming Him, so be prepared: once you have started it, you won’t
want to put it down until you finish it (and every novel in the series). This
series is explosively fantastic and 100% sure hotter than the Texas heat. Be
ready for an intense ride! Romance readers, Bishop brothers is everything you
need. Alex will amaze you and you will be totally blown away, Evan will made
you crave for more and more, John will make you swoon a lot (and I mean a
really-really lot), and Jackson will steal your heart completely. ♥♥♥♥
Taming Him, Needing Him, Chasing Him and
Keeping Him are can be read as standalone novels, but I don't really recommend
that. You would miss a super amazing story because it is so complete if you
read these in order. You will be impressed by Bishop brothers , and you will
want more and more.
The Elite King’s Club by Amo Jones
“But,”
I add, stepping forward, “you never put me back together
properly. You steal parts of me, so when you do put me back, I´m all crooked,
cracked, and still visibly broken.”
His
smile pauses briefly, not enough for me to really catch any meaning behind it.
He turns to face me, his eyes locking into mine. “Because being broken is how
you´re going to survive this life, Madison.”

After finishing one book, you can not think about anything else, moreover, you don't even want to finish it, you just want to read more and more, and when you reach the end of a novel in this series, you want to continue reading the story, like immediately, and if the next one is not released yet, you almost count down the days 'til release day.
Dirty Headlines by L. J. Shen
Cry me a river, baby. I’m Célian.
I think that so far, this is the best book I have read by L. J. Shen. When she first announced the release of Dirty Headlines, I was instantly so curious, and then she only shared a few words with us about this novel, and these few words really caught my attention. I was so impatient, but it was so worth the wait. I adore L. J. Shen's novels, but personally, I believe that this is her best book so far. If you haven't read it yet, I can highly recommend it.

Personally, I really do think that
Teagan Hunter is a super talented author. Her writing style really makes the
whole book unputdownable, the characters are fantastic and extremely funny, the
story is full with hilarious moments, and there is always a twist which will
totally surprise you. The text messages are still the bests, OMG, these little
texts made me laugh several times.
This book totally pulled me in and
didn't let me until I finished it. This is such a a unique novel, you can
rarely find and read a story like that. If you want to read something romantic
and full with funny scenes, do not look further, I Wanna Text You Up will be a
perfect choice for you. But before that, read the first book in the series.
Trust me, you won't regret it.
Checkmate Duet by Kennedy Fox
“This is war, King.”
“Game on, princess.”
Kennedy Fox is one of my biggests
favourite authors, they absolutely blown me away with Bishop Brothers, and now they completely amazed me with Travis and Viola’s
emotional story. If you love enemies-to-lovers novels, This is War is your
book.
I can't even tell how much I love this
book. I have already mentioned above that I adore Kennedy Fox's writings, and
now, they made me love their books even more with the first novel in Checkmate
series. This is War is a very well-written novel, it can be easily read, I love
the authors style.
Rewrite the Stars by Charleigh Rose
“What if it’s already in the stars? You
can’t change your fate.”
“Then we’ll rewrite the stars.”
You don't want to know that after finishing Rewrite the Stars how many times I listened Zac Efron and Zendaya's song. But it's so good and a perfect match with this novel. ♥

Seriously, after finishing this novel, I
am completely speechless. Rewrite the Stars... This book is everything I hoped
it would be. And a little bit more. A little bit? No, it is way more better
than I hoped for. Charleigh Rose is a GENIOUS, yes, with capital letters. Evan
and Sebastian's story is so beautiful from the very begining to the end, this
story is mindblowing, very well written and completely unique. For me, this was
the very first book I have ever read by this author, and right now I am
thinking about what book should I read next by her.
If I should describe Rewrite the Stars
with only a few words, I would use these four: wonderful, magical, emotional
and breathtaking. After reading this novel, I can honestly say that Charleigh
Rose is a very talented author. The characters are so magnificent, I really do
think that while reading this book you can feel that they are so real, and it
is really easy to feel their feelings. The writing style is absolutely
beautiful, this novel is full with so many lovely sentences and realy good
ideas. From the very first moment, I was impressed by the cover of Rewrite the
Stars, it is stunning, everything about this book is simply excellent and
mindblowing.
Filthy Gods by R. Scarlett
I examined the risks and you’re worth
the fall.
I think this one was my very first read by R. Scarlett, and my biggest problem was that it was soo short. I mean, I didn't feel that it was not completed, I just would want to read more and more. ♥ I loved Nathaniel and Juliette so much, I can't wait to read the next ones in this series and see them again.
The other characters ahh... I think I have never waited for books to be released like I am waiting for the novels in American Gods series. ♥
Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa
And the mountains may rise and fall, and
the sun might wither away, and the sea may claim the land and swallow the sky.
But you will always be mine. And the stars might fall from the heavens, and
night might cloak the earth, but until darkness dies, I will always be yours.
Nowadays, I rarely read fantasy novels, but this one really caught my attention. I saw a lot of pictures of this series on Instagram and everyone said that this series is so good, so I checked out the blurb, and I was even more curious. After finishing the first book in The Bargainer series I can honestly say that this is a MUST READ FOR FANTASY ROMANCE FANS. It is incredibly surprising. I would like to continue reading this series really soon, because it is totally captivating. If you like to read fantasy romance novels even just a little bit, give this one a try, It will make you love this genre.

The Peer and the Puppet by B. B. Reid
“Once upon a puppet, she spun a tale to
the mad king.

Dear everyone, if you haven't read
anything by B. B. Reid, what are you waiting for? She is so amazing and a very
talented author. The Peer and the Puppet is a book that worth reading, but be
careful, because once you start reading it, you won't be able to put it down. I
also stayed up almost all night to read it, this book is unputdownable.
Four and Ever (I love how their name
match ♥) is one of the best couples I have ever read about. They are perfectly
imperfects. Four is so badass, tendentious, strong-minded and powerful, and
Ever... Ever is a characters that at
first you'll hate, then later you can't even decide if you like him or not, and
really soon you will totally in love with him.
Now, let me talk you a little bit about
the side characters. They are A-WE-SO-ME. They have interesting backgrounds, I
see lots and lots of opportunities in them. I'm super excited to continue this
series, this whole story is so amazing and full with secrets, I can't wait to
read more and more and find answers to my questions.
Ruthless People by J. J. McAvoy
I’m not now, nor shall I ever be, any
man’s arm candy.
Jaw dropping. Astonishing. The best of the bests. The plot is extremely eventful. I think I have never ever read about a character like Melody. She is incredibly storng and badass, and with Liam, they are an unstoppable couple. If you want to start reading this series, make sure that you don't have so many important things on your to-do list because you won't want to stop until you finish the fourt, I repeat, the fourth novel in this series.
I would say that this is that type of books that pulls you in and won't let you go, even after you finish it.
Falling for the Playboy by Kennedy Fox
Olivia: LOL thanks. If it gets you two
off my ass, I’ll tell you this. Apparently, he was the star in my dream last
night, and I said his name in my sleep. And of course, Maverick heard me too!
I’m still embarassed, and he obviously thinks it’s hilarious.
Vada: OMG… that’s amazing. Totally

Vada: You should find out if he’s a good
kisser. Ya know, for the book’s sake.

If you follow me on Instagram or you
have already read my review about one of Kennedy Fox's books, you now know that
Lyra Parish and Brooke Cumberland's collaboration is one of my biggest
favourites. Personally, I really adore when two super talented author work
together and create something absolutely unique. These two women write together
as Kennedy Fox, and I discovered their novels in 2018, and I have already read
several books by them. With their Bishop Brothers series they completely swept
me off my feet, with Checkmate Duet they totally mesmerized me, and now, with
Bedtime Reads they just proved again that their collaboration is incredibly
amazing.
Kennedy Fox's books are tipically that
type of novels that you can not not love. Falling for the Playboy is an
absolutely adorable novel. There was no lack of funny moments and romantic
scenes. There was a lot, like a really lot. Moreover, the second half of the
story is even more romantic, in my opinion. During the first few chapers,
Maverick makes you love him, but as you get to know him more and more, you will
fall in love him more and more. I loved that everybody thinks that he is a huge
playboy, but deep down, he is not, he is more than that. It was so good to see
that he does not let Olivia to run away from him, and I especially adored that
he faced his fears.
Stolen Duet by B. B. Reid
You want me fight this war to keep you?
So be it.
B. B. Reid can not write a story that I won't love. I think I love Stolen Duet even better than The Peer and the Puppet. If you like to read dark romance stories, well, I can highly recommend this one to you. The story is genious, unique, and super surprising. Mian is an amazing, strong, a badass heroine, and Angel... Well, sometimes I didn't really decide that I love or hate him. :D You will understand when you read it. It is really exciting, so worth reading it.
BearPaw Resort by Cambria Hebert
Because one day with you is better than
a lifetime without.
I simply adore Cambria Hebert's books, and I am always super excited if she announces a new one. BearPaw Resort series, just like the other, easily became one of my biggest favourites. Bellamy is a super awesome heroine, so many horrible thing happened with her, but she stayed strong. And Liam... Oh Liam! ♥ Cambria Hebert is so talented in creating heros who instantly stole your heart and never give it back. And Liam is that kind of a hero. ♥
This story is extremely exciting, I read it so quickly, but when there were some scenes which were even more interesting I was reading even more quickly, because I wanted to know what happens next.

R. SCARLETT IS THE QUENN OF PARANORMAL ROMANCE NOVELS. I am not kidding, this book pulled me in with the very first few lines, and did not let me go until I have finished it. And after that, I instantly wanted to continue Tensley and Molly's story, I wanted to know what happens with them. Oh, and not just with them, I wanted to find out what happens with the other characters too, the author created so-so many amazing characters beside them, they made the story more interesting. I loved almost all of them (Fallen, Illya and Beau ♥♥♥), and I always couldn't wait for them to show up again and again. Vein of Love is totally captivating. So yes, the characters are absolutely amazing, the world is well-built, I love Rebecca's style, the cover is totally eye-catching... Everything is just simply genious. Do we really need anything else?
Where I Belong by J. Daniels
This is where I belong. Wherever you

SU-PER A-DO-RA-BLE. This are the perfect words if I would like to describe this book very briefly. Where I Belong is a perfect start for Alabama Summer series, it can be read as a standalone, because the main characters in the next ones are different couples. This novel was my very first by J. Daniels, and it made me a huge fan of hers, and I really do think that this book is perfect for make someone a fan of J. Daniels. And after that, you really want to read more by her.
