Amikor a The Silver Swan végére értem nem tudtam, hogy mit kezdjek magammal. Szóval azt tettem, amit kellett. Megvettem a következő részt. Az a függővég...

Emiatt a függővég miatt csak még többet akartok majd. Ez tipikusan az a "falkaparós" fajta. Azt már meg sem említve, ami a The Broken Puppet végén van. A Tacet a Mortuis befejezéséről meg már ne is beszéljünk...

A The Elite King's Club a tökéletes definíciója a függőséget okozó könyvsorozatoknak. Mert ez bizony az. Egy-egy kötet befejezése után egyszerűen nem tudsz másra gondolni, sőt, nem is akarod, hogy vége legyen, csak még tovább és tovább akarod olvasni, ha pedig a végére értél, akkor azonnal folytatni akarod, ha pedig még nem jelent meg a folytatás, akkor szinte már visszaszámolod a napokat az adott rész megjelenésének napjáig. A függője vagyok ennek a sorozatnak, és egyáltalán nincs szükségem rehabra.

Én már néhány hónappal ezelőtt befejeztem a sorozat eddig megjelent köteteinek az olvasását, és még mindig nem tudok túllépni rajta. De nem is akarok. MI VOLT AZ A BEFEJEZÉS????? HOL VAN A KÖVETKEZŐ RÉSZ???? MOST AZONNAL OLVASNI AKAROM!!!!! Ha azt gondoltátok, hogy a The Silver Swan és a The Broken Puppet végén lévő függővégek kikészítettek, hát... A Tacet a Mortuis befejezése tönkre fog tenni. SOKKKAL jobban, mint eddig bármelyik más könyv vége.

Március 12-e nem tud elég hamar eljönni. Ez lesz az a nap, amikor a Malum meg fog jelenni. Aminek két része lesz. És ebből következtethetünk arra, hogy gyilkos függővége lesz. Már most félek.

Most pedig merüljünk is bele ebbe a történetbe, mert bizony jócskán van mit erről is írni.

A könyvsorozat női főszereplője Madison Montgomery, akinek már több nehéz helyzettel is meg kellett küzdenie élete során, most pedig édesapja miatt egy teljesen új városba kell költöznie. A férfi azt állítja, hogy megtalálta az igazit, ezért mostantól kezdve már vele szeretne élni, viszont ehhez az szükséges, hogy ő és a lánya elhagyják addigi lakóhelyüket. A nő viszont nem él egyedül, neki is van egy gyermeke, pontosabban egy fia, aki körülbelül annyi idős, mint Madison. Egy hatalmas tragédia árnyalja be Madison és édesapja életét, ami miatt az emberek pletykálkodni is kezdtek. A lány emiatt mondhatjuk, hogy bizonyos szintig örül is a költözésnek, hiszen ezzel egy teljesen új életere, egy új kezdetre van lehetőségük. Az új élet megkezdése sikerül is, viszont ez nem éppen úgy sül el, ahogy azt a lány tervezte, mert a pletykálkodás itt sem fejeződik be, akárhová is mennek, mindenhová követi őket, nem tudnak megszabadulni a múltjuktól.

A költözéssel az is együtt jár, hogy a lánynak iskolát kell váltania. Az édesapja be is íratja abba, amelyikbe a helybeli gazdagabb lakosok is járatják gyermekeiket, ez pedig a Riverside Preparatory. Madison terve igazán egyszerű: be akar olvadni ebbe az új közösségbe amennyire csak lehetséges, normális életet akar, már amennyire ez lehetséges, viszont egy olyan múlttal, mint ami neki van, ez egy picit már lehetetlennek tűnik.

Először is, Madison általában nehezen barátkozik, viszont ő és Tatum, egy lány aki ugyanebbe az iskolába jár, barátok lesznek, Tatum pedig már ekkor figyelmezteti őt, hogy amennyire csak lehetséges, maradjon távol tíz - ultra dögös - fiútól az iskolában. Azt pletykálják, hogy ők tízen egy klub tagjai, amely nem más, mint a The Elite King's Club. Madison új mostohatestvére, Nate is tagja ennek, ők tízen viszont nem csak úgy simán klubtagok, hanem barátok is. Szóval Tatum azt tanácsolja, hogy lehetőleg ne menjen még csak a közelükbe sem, ez viszont már abban a pillanatban megbukott, mivel már rég kiszemelték Madi-t, a "vezetőjük", Bishop Vincent Hayes, pedig kifejezetten érdeklődik iránta. Azt már nem is említve, hogy Nate és ő egy lakásban laknak, továbbá, a szobáik is nagyon közel vannak egymáshoz, az ignorálás így pedig nem csak szinte lehetetlen, hanem teljesen lehetetlen.

Titok, titok hátán, de vajon mi történik, ha szépen lassan elkezd lehullani a lepel ezekről a titkokról? Vajon Madison élete lehet még olyan, amilyen régen volt? Szerintem a választ már mindenki sejti: nem. Ó, de még mennyire nagyon nem.

És ez még csak a kezdet. A kezdet kezdete.

Őszintén, nehéz erről a sorozatról spoilerek nélkül írni. Annyira elképesztően, hihetetlenül akciódús, és itt még csak az első kötetről beszélek. A másik kettőben ez csak még jobban fokozódik, főleg ahogy Madison-nal együtt mi, olvasók is egyre jobban kezdünk rájönni a dolgokra, megérteni az összefüggéseket, úgy áll össze szépen lassan a kép. És amikor már elhiszed, hogy mindenre rájöttél, na, akkor jön valami igazán váratlan, igazán meglepő csavar.

Kiszámíthatatlan.

Totálisan kiszámíthatatlan a cselekmény.

Miután a The Silver Swan, és úgy az összes kötet végére értem a következő kérdés fogalmazódott meg bennem: mit is olvastam én pontosan? Annyira intenzív volt, mindig történt valami, ami felborította az addigi teóriáimat, elbizonytalanított és nagyon, de nagyon meglepett.

Elképesztő.

Elképesztően rejtélyes.

A The Broken Puppet fokozza a hangulatot. Főleg a vége. Amiről az első rész során olvashattunk az még csak nagyon az eleje volt mindennek. Szóval, a The Silver Swan végén a lány látott valamit, ami teljesen megváltoztatta az életét. Ettől kezdve már nem tud ugyanúgy nézni sem saját magára, sem az édesapjára, sem pedig a The Elite King's Club tagjaira nézni. Emiatt pedig ő és Tatum megpróbálnak elmenekülni, ami egy kis időre jó megoldásnak is tűnik, viszont ez nem marad így sokáig, és nagyon hamar vissza is viszik őket.

Ebben a kötetben végre több dologra is fény derül, és Madison-nal együtt mi, olvasók is egyre több dolgora leszünk figyelmesek, kezd összeállni a kép, aztán természetesen biztosan történik valami ami teljes mértékben szétrombolja addigi teóriáinkat. Végre egyre több mindent kezd ő is megtudni, összerakja magában a képet. Azzal viszont, hogy végre rájött arra, mi is az a nagy titok, amiről mindaddig nem akartak beszélni neki nem oldottak meg semmit, sőt, Madison még nagyobb veszélybe került.

És akkor most térjünk is rá arra a bizonyos befejezésre. Először nem is akartam elhinni azt, ami itt történt, sőt többször is elolvastam, mert először azt hittem, hogy valamit félreértettem, de nem. Nagyon nem.

HŰHA!!!!! Egy dolog nagyon biztos: Amo Jones a sokkolós-falkaparós függővégek és a dark romance koronázatlan királynője. Olyan csavarokkal fűszerezi meg a regényeit, amelyek szerintem egyáltalán nem előreláthatóak, a szemeid szinte a lapokhoz ragadnak, egyszerűen egy fél másodpercre sem akarod letenni a könyvet, annyira akarod már tudni, hogy mi is fog történni. Aztán pedig természetesen bejön egy ilyen függővég, ami mindent felborít, és neked pedig hónapokat kell várni a folytatásra.

Azt viszont őszintén ki merem jelenteni, hogy a The Broken Puppet méltó folytatása a The Silver Swan-nak. Nemcsak, hogy hozza ugyanazt a színvonalat, hanem magasan felül is múlja.

A Tacet a Mortuis pedig szerintem tökéletes és elképesztően áll leesősen észvesztően jó folytatása a The Broken Puppet-nek, és zseniális megnyitása a Malum című regénynek. Zseniális? Talán még ez is egy picit gyenge szó arra, hogy kifejezzem mennyire is Mert igen, itt a végén ebbe is betekintést nyerhetünk, ami teljesen lesokkolt. Erre egyáltalán nem számítottam.

Március nem tud elég hamar eljönni. Az áprilisról pedig ne is beszéljünk.

Arra számítani lehetett, hogy valamilyen szinte majd ez a kötet meg fogja egy picit nyitni a következőt, NA DE ERRE???? Erre abszolút nem gondoltam volna. Konkrétan itt is újraolvastam néhány mondatot, hogy nem-e értettem valamit félre, de nem.

Plsz, ne feledkezzünk meg arról sem, hogy a végén egy törölt jelenetet is olvashatunk, amely, khm... egy kicsit nagyon forró. Hűha... Na, itt aztán tényleg lángolnak a lapok.

Nem szeretnék nagyon belemenni a cselekménybe, nem akarok senkinek egy apró részletet sem lespoilerezni. Ezt mindenkinek magának kell végigolvasni. Mert megéri. Hihetetlenül nagyon-nagyon-nagyon megéri elolvasni. Amo Jones írásmódja és történetvezetése azt az "agyam eldobom" érzést kelti az olvasóban, és ezt teljesen pozitív értelemben mondom.

Szóval, azt már kitárgyaltam, hogy belülről mennyire elképesztően jó a tartalma a könyveknek, viszont szerintem nem szabad megfeledkeznünk a külsejükről sem. Én három szóval tudnám legeslegjobban jellemezni ezeket a borítókat:

♥ lélegzetelállító,

♥ szemgyönyörködtető,

♥ és észveszejtően gyönyörűséges.

Amo Jones borítóleleplezéseire mindig érdemes várni, mert amikor meglátod a legújabb regényének a külsejét, szó szerint nem fogsz találni szavakat arra, hogy leírd, mennyire is tetszik neked az adott borító.

Már csak egyvalamiről nem beszéltem, ez pedig nem más, mint a karakterek. Személy szerint én nagyon szerettem Madison karakterét, hatalmas fejlődésen megy keresztül a sorozat során, igazán badass főhősnőről van szó. Őt és Bishop-ot elmondhatatlanul imádtam együtt, már a kezdetektől fogva hatalmas kedvenceim voltak.

A The Elite King's tagjai... ŐK ANNYIRA TÖKÉLETLENÜL TÖKÉLETESEK. Ennyit szeretnék mondani. Imádom őket egytől egyig. Mindegyikőjükről még többet akarok olvasni. És még többet. Többre van szükségem. Belőlük sosem elég. De Bishop... ő minden. ♥ És Nate. ♥ És mindannyian. ♥ Annyira imádom őket. ♥

Tatum még mindig az egyik legnagyobb kedvencem, csakúgy, mint Tillie. Körülöttük is rengeteg rejtély van, de leginkább ez Tillie-re igaz, és végre, már nemsokára róla is olvashatunk, ugyanis ő lesz a Malum egyik főszereplője. El sem tudom mondani, hogy mennyire is izgatottan várom ennek a regénynek a megjelenését. És ennek az új borítója? Ahhhhh, annyira ragyogó. Imádom. ♥

I feel something for you, Madison. Something I've never felt for anyone ever. But love isn't a strong enough word to even come close to what the fuck I feel for you.

Mindent figyelembe véve: ez a könyv BRILIÁNS. Igen, végig nagybetűkkel. Ha még nem olvastátok volna, AKKOR MIRE VÁRTOK MÉG? OLVASSÁTOK. MOST. VISZONT! És ezt szerintem igenis mindenki vegye figyelembe: NEM való mindenkinek ez a könyv. Szerintem a dark romance kategóriában ez a legeslegjobb. Nem egy cukormázas történet, ahogy már fentebb is említettem, a legmesszebb áll attól. Erotikus jelenetek bőven vannak benne, szókimondó, gyakran (nagyon gyakran) fordulnak benne elő trágár szavak is, szóval akiket ezek nagyon zavarnak, azoknak nem ajánlanám ezt a könyvet. Ahogy 18 éven aluliaknak sem. Ha viszont már 18 évesnél idősebbek vagytok és a fentebb említettek sem zavarnak, akkor hajrá, szerintem tetszeni fog nektek ez a történet. Ha pedig már olvastátok mind a három regényt, akkor izguljunk együtt és reménykedjünk benne, hogy Amo nem fog nagyon kikészíteni minket egy újabb függővéggel. Van egy olyan érzésem, hogy de bizony ez fog történni. :D Szerencsére a Malum második része április 2-án fog megjelenni, szóval nem kell sokat várni a folytatásra. Hallelujah! :D

Hatszázmillió csillagos az egész sorozat. Sőt, még ennél is többet érdemel. Izgatottan várom a folytatást. ♥ ~~Nateeee ♥♥♥~~

When I finished The Silver Swan, I didn’t know what to do with myself. So I did what I had to. Bought the second one. Guys, that cliffhanger…

That cliffhanger makes you crave.

Crave for more. And more. And a hella lot more. Not to mention the one at the end of The Broken Puppet.

The Elite King’s Club is the perfect definition of an addictive book series. Because it is sure as hell addictive. After finishing one book, you can not think about anything else, moreover, you don't even want to finish it, you just want to read more and more, and when you reach the end of a novel in this series, you want to continue reading the story, like immediately, and if the next one is not released yet, you count down the days 'til release day. I am addicted to this series, and I don't need and don't want rehab.

I have finished this series a few months before, and I still can’t get over it. You know what? I don't even want to get over it. WHAT WAS THAT ENDING????? WHERE IS THE NEXT ONE???? I NEED IT, LIKE YESTERDAY!!!!! If you thought that the cliffhangers at the end of The Silver Swan and The Broken Puppet ruined you, well... The ending of Tacet a Mortuis will ruin you more. A LOT more.

March 12th can’t come fast enough. That’s when Malum will be released. Which will have two parts. And probably a killer cliffhanger. I’m already afraid.

But now, let's dive into the story, because there is a lot to write about.

There’s just something magical about a library. It’s like a portal to many different worlds.

The heroine of the story is Madison Montgomery, who already had to deal with too much difficult situations in her life, and now, she has to move to a new town with her father, because he says that he found "the one" and want to live with her. But she does not live alone, she has a son, who is exactly at the same age as Madison. A tragedy overshadows Madison's and her father's life, and because of that, people around them starts to say different things about them. So Madi hopes that if they move to a new place where they don't know anyone, and nobody knows them, they can kinda start a new life. Well, they manage to start a new life, but that rumor is the kind that follows them wherever they go, so it is not that easy to escape from their past.

Because of the moving, of course, she has to change school to, and her father puts her into one, where all the rich people's kids go, and that is Riverside Preparatory. Her plan was simple: blend in as much as possible to be normal as much as possible, but with a past like hers, it is pretty impossible.

Firstly, she and Tatum, a girl who attends to this school too, become friends, and she warns Madi that she should stay away from ten - ultra hot - boys in this school. Rumor says that together they have a club, which is The Elite King's Club, and Madison's new stepbrother, who is Nate, is a member of this club and those ten boys are really close to each other, they are not just simply members of The Elite King's Club, they are friends. So Tatum warns her and tell her some things about them, but that warning is a little bit late, because they already have their eyes on her. Not to mention the fact that Nate and Madison live in the same house and their bedrooms are very close to each other.

Their lives are full of secrets, but what happens when the truth is revealed? Can Madison's life be the same again? Well, I think you already know the answer to this question: no. Not at all.

This is only the beginning. The beginning of the beginning.

To be honest, it is hard to write about this series without spoilers. These books are so super interesting, exciting and full of action, you can never be bored if you read these novels. The first book's plot is so fast moving, not to mention the second and the third novels, these are even more eventful. Especially, as we readers slowly find out everything with Madison, we start to understand more and more, and when we think that we already know the truth, well then comes a huge (like really huge) twist and you are uncertain again.

Unpredictable.

The whole plot is extremely unpredictable.

After I have finished The Silver Swan, and all of the published novels in this series, I only had one single question: what have I read? This story is so intense, something always happened that made me excited, or there were some twist that ruined all my guesses, made me question myself, and really-really surprised me.

Mysterious.

Abso-bloody-lutely mysterious.

We’ve all lost our mind, baby, but that’s how we all found each other. We’re all lost, but we’re all lost on the same road.

The Broken Puppet is even more freaking fantastic. Especially, the end of this novel. What we can read in The Silver Swan is only the very beginning of the whole story. So, at the end of the first book, Madison saw something, and it changed her life forever. From now on, she can not think about herself, about her father and about the members of The Elite King's Club in the same way, because that changed everything for them. The truth has started to be revealed. But it is only a little part of the truth. Because of that, she and Tatum tries to run away, and for a little time, it looks like that it is a good idea, but not to later, someone finds them and takes them back.

In this novel, we and Madison too can learn more and more, and also, we can guess, but yeah, as I have already mentioned, there always come some twists that will make us question everything. She also starts to find the missing pieces the puzzle, but as she slowly finds out the truth, she is in even more danger.

And now, let's turn back to that ending, because OMG WHAT WAS THAT???? At first, I didn't want to believe what I read, and I reread some lines because I thought that I misunderstood something, but no. It was there in black and white and I didn't misunderstand anything. That happened. And OMG!!!! THAT CLIFFHANGER!!!! Honestly, once I finish a book by Amo Jones, I crave for a hella lot more.

WOW!!!!!! One thing is sure: Amo Jones is the queen of killer cliffhangers and dark romance novels. There are so many twist is her stories and these make them super unpredictable, you can never know what will happen, your eyes are almost glued to the pages, basically, you don't want to put down the book and stop reading for half moment. And then, you finish a book, which ends in a cliffhanger and it makes you crave for more, and the worst part comes: you have to wait for the next book.

Anyway, I can honestly say that The Broken Puppet is just as abso-fucking-lutely amazing as The Silver Swan.

Moreover, Tacet a Mortuis is, in my opinion, a perfect, incredible, jaw dropping novel, and it is even more exciting then the first two in this series. It not just continues the story in an awesomly interesting way, but it also opens Malum too. Because yes, at the end of Tacet a Mortuis, we can also kinda get a little sneak peek into the fourth book in The Elite King's Club series. And it totally shocked me. It was completely unexpected.

March can't come fast enough. Not to mention April.

We could assume that in some way, it will open the storyline of the noxt one, BUT LIKE THAT?????? I... I could never thought that something like that will happen. Honestly, that rereading thing happend there too, I just couldn't believe what happened and what I read.

Plus, let's not forget about the fact that at the end, we can also read a deleted scene, and well, it was HOT. Wow, it will definitely leave your Kindles on fire.

I do not want to jump into details, I do not want to spoil anything to anyone, everyone should read it and find out everything by themselves. Because it is woth it. Incredibly really-really-really worth it. Amo Jones' style is completely mindblowing, in an absolutely positive way.

So, now that I have wrote about almost everything, I also have to mention the cover of these novels. I think I can describe these in three words:

It is always worth waiting for Amo Jones' cover reveals, because when you firstly see the cover of one of her new books, you can not even finds words.

And finally, I have not wrote about only one thing, and that is the characters. Personally, I really liked Madison, she was a really badass heroine, her character growth is really amazing. She and Bishop are so good together, I loved them from the very beginning.

The Kings... THEY ARE IMPERFECTLY PERFECT. That's all I have to say. I love them all. I wanna read about them more and more. And more. I need more. I really need more. I just can't get enough of them. But Bishop... Ahhh, that guy owned me. ♥ And Nate too. ♥ And all of them. ♥ Love them so much. ♥

Tatum is still one of my biggest favourites, just as Tillie. There is a lot mystery around them too, especially Tillie, and finally, we will get her book too, bacause in Malum, she will be one of the main characters. I can't even tell you how excited I am for this novel. And its new cover? Gahhh, so freaking stunning. Adore it. ♥

I feel something for you, Madison. Something I've never felt for anyone ever. But love isn't a strong enough word to even come close to what the fuck I feel for you.

Taking everything into account, this series is BRILLIANT. Yes, with capital letters. Utter perfection. Period. If you haven’t read it yet: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? READ IT. NOW. HOWEVER! This book, and the whole series is not for everyone. In my opinion, The Elite King's Club by Amo Jones is the best in the dark romance genre. This is not a fairy tale with princesses and princes, it is not your typical romance story, moreover, it is not your typical dark romance story. There are a lot of erotic scenes in it, "bad" words, so if you don't like to read about these thing, this book series will not be your cup of tea. Furthermore, I would only recommend it to readers who are 18 years old or above. If you are that person, and you don't mind the things mentoned above in a novel, than I can highly recommend it to you. Go on and read it. If you read it, well, let’s pray together that Amo won’t kill us with another cliffhanger. :D I have a feeling that it will happen. Fortunately, part two will be released on April 2nd, so we don't have to wait a lot. Hallelujah! :D

Six hundred thousand million stars. No, this whole series deserve a lot more. I'm super excited for the next ones. ♥ ~~Nateee ♥♥~~

PS.: The Elite King’s Club will be released in Hungary. Let’s hope they find an amazing translator and that they don’t ruin this story with a bad one. And let’s hope that they don’t change the cover. Pray for us. :D
