Nekem személy szerint hatalmas kedvenceim az olyan romantikus regények, amelyekben a főszereplő beleszeret a testvérének a legjobb barátjába. Fogalmam sincs, hogy miért, de ezek a történetek szinte mindig elnyerik a tetszésemet. És most ez történt Kaylee Ryan Remedy című regényével is.

Ez volt a legeslegelső olvasmányom az írónőtől, és szerintem egy kifejezetten édes történettel sikerült megismerkednem a munkásságával. A Remedy egy szuper romantikus regény, ami tökéletes kikapcsolódást nyújt egy ilyen hideg téli napon. Garantáltan megmelengeti minden olvasó szívét. ♥

A történet női főszereplője Collins Ward, akinek három évvel ezelőtt brutálisan összetörték a szívét. A lány egyszerűen képtelen elfelejteni ezt az éjszakát, ami teljesen érthető is. Viszont egyáltalán nem amiatt, mert annyira jó lett volna. Vagyis, az éjszaka számára több mint jó volt, és úgy tűnt neki, hogy a partnere is hasonlóképpen érzett.

De eljön a következő nap reggele, amikor is egyedül ébred fel, a férfinak, akivel az előző estét töltötte pedig nyoma sincs. Grady Carmichael három évvel ezelőtt hatalmas hibát követett el, amire rögtön azután rájött, hogy megtette azt, amit, viszont akkori belátása szerint így volt a legjobb mindkettejük számára. Azonban már tudja, hogy nem akar semmi mást, csak a lánnyal lenni, és elhatározta, hogy bármi áron megpróbálja visszaszerezni a lány bizalmát és elnyerni a szerelmét.

Három évvel később visszatér szülővárosába a munkája miatt, viszont őt ennél nagyobb dolog vezérli, hiszen Collins is itt él, és nagy esélye van rá, hogy ismét találkoznak. Azonban a találkozások hamar többé alakulnak, és ha akarják, ha nem, szinte már napi szinten látják egymást, egyre több időt kezdenek el együtt tölteni, és már vágynak is ezekre az együtt töltött percekre, az érzelmeik pedig emiatt szinte letagadhatatlanok.

Vajon Collins képes lesz újra megbízni Grady-ben? Van számukra második esély és egy lehetőség a közös életre? Megtudhatjátok, ha elolvassátok Kaylee Ryan Remedy című regényét.

Kaylee Ryan Remedy című alkotása sokkal több annál, mint egy beleszerettem-a-testvérem-legjobb-barátjába témáját feldolgozó regény, ugyanis ez a második esélyről is szól. Grady és Collins között történt valami, ami mély nyomot hagyott a lányban, és ahogy már a fentiek elolvasása után tudhatjátok, ez egyáltalán nem egy pozitív élmény a számára. Így érthető is, hogy Grady visszatérése bizonytalanná teszi, és a férfinek nem is egyszerű visszanyerni a bizalmát. A kettejük kapcsolata lassan alakul ki, ami a körülményeket figyelembe véve teljesen érthető is. Viszont amikor ketten vannak, azok a pillanatok a legjobbak, csakúgy árad a szeretet. A vége pedig... ♥ Annyira imádnivaló.

Összességében, szerintem ez egy remek történet, viszont volt egy olyan érzésem, hogy valami hiányzik. Nem tudom megmondani, hogy mi, egyszerűen csak ez az érzésem támadt, amikor befejeztem a regényt. Nagyon aranyos volt, az írónő le is zárta a kettejük sztoriját, nem maradtak megválaszolatlan kérdések bennem, csak valami nekem hiányzott.

A szereplők nagyszerűek voltak. Collins egy nagyon jó főhősnő, humoros, okos, kedves, jó volt az ő szemszögéből olvasni. Grady...Ohhh, Grady! ♥ Annyira más, mint azok a karakterek, akikről általában olvasni lehet. Nem az a nagy nőfaló, egyáltalán nem, ő csak egyetlenegy lányra vágyik, és csupán őt szeretné megszerezni. Kitart mellette, nem érdekli senki más, annyira édes, aranyos, gondoskodó és szeretnivaló karakter, egyszerűen imádtam.

Collins bátyja, Caleb és a menyasszonya, Emily, annyira imádnivalóak voltak, el sem tudom mondani, hogy mennyire szerettem őket. ♥ Nem tudom, hogy nekik már megírta-e az írónő az ő történetüket, mert ha igen, akkor nekem az a könyv most azonnal kell. ♥ Ha nem, akkor nagyon-nagyon bízom benne, hogy egyszer erre is sor kerül, én annyira kíváncsi vagyok az ő sztorijukra is.

Collins lakótársa, Tabby, pedig egyszerűen zseniális. Nagyszerű karakter volt, vele is az a helyzet, mint Caleb-bel és Emily-vel, Tabby történetét is nagyon szívesen elolvasnám. Ugyanez igaz Grady és Caleb barátaira, Alec-re és Bryce-ra is, róluk is nagyon olvasnék még többet és többet. ♥

You make my heart race.

Mindent figyelembe véve, Kaylee Ryan Remedy című alkotása egy nagyon szép második esélyről szóló történet, és a romantikus lelkűek biztosan szeretni fogják ezt a könyvet. Ha szeretitek a nagyon romantikus regényeket, akkor szerintem adjatok ennek is egy esélyt, tetszeni fog nektek.

Personally, I really like best-friend's-sister/brother's-best-friend romance novels. I don't really know why, I just almost always love these type of stories. And it happened with Remedy by Kaylee Ryan.

This was my very first read by this author, and I really do think that I started reading her novels with a super cute one. Remedy is a incredibly romantic story, and it's perfect for relaxing and to forget about everything else in a cold winter day. I am pretty sure that it will melt every readers' heart. ♥

The heroine of the story is Collins Ward, whose heart was broken by somebody three long years ago. She can not forget that night, and we can really understand that. Not because it was that good. Well, the night was amazing for her, and she tought that her partner felt the same too.

But then the next day came, and the man who she spent the previous night is nowhere to be found. She is completely disappointed, she tought that she did something wrong and that is why he left her. She tried to call him, sent him a lots of messages, but he did not respond. Not responded to her calls. To her messages. To nothing. She felt completely broken, because for her, it was a lot more than a one night stand, it meant a really lot to her. Because the man she spent that night with is Grady Carmichael, who is her brother's best friend, and she has been completely in love with him for ages.

Grady Carmichael made a huge mistake three years ago, and he knew it was a mistake when he did what he did, but he tought that it was the best decision to make for both of them. But he knows what he wants, and he wants Collins. Nobody else. He only wants to be together with her, and he is determined to make her trust in him again.

Three years later he is back in his hometown because of work, but there is something else that motivates him. Collins still lives there and there is a huge chance that they will meet again. And they do so, but later, they spend a lot more time together for differetn reasons, they almost see each other every day, and after a while, they can not wait to see each other again and again, and it is pretty obvious that they like each other.

But can Collins trust in Grady again? Will they get a second chance to be together? You can find out if you read Remedy by Kaylee Ryan.

Remedy by Kaylee Ryan is a lot more than best-friend's-sister/brother's-best-friend romance story, it is also about a beautiful second chance. Something happened between Collins and Grady, and it made a huge impact on her life, and as you could read above, it was not good at all. Because of that, it is reasonable that Collins is not too happy that Grady is back, and it is not easy for him either to make her trust in him again. Their story is a little bit slow burn, but if you read it, you can totally understand why. But when they are together... Those moments are the best, they are so perfect for each other. And the end... ♥ Super sweet and adorable.

All in all, this story is fantastic, however, I had a feeling that something is missing. I don't know what, but when I finished it, I felt that something is just missing. It's not that there were unanswered question, their weren't any, this story is completed, I just missed something.

The characters are super awesome. I really liked Collins, she is an amazing heroine, I liked that she is so kind, funny, I loved reading this story from her POV too. Grady... Ohhh, Grady! ♥ He is so different from all of the characters you can read in romance novels. He is not that manwhore, he is definitely not that man, he only wants one girl, and he only wants to get her, nobody else does not matter to him. He was so cute and adorable and caring, I simply loved him.

Another characters I really loved are Collins' brother and his bride, Caleb and Emily. They are incredibly loveable together, I can't even tell you how much I adored them. ♥ I don't know that their story is already published or not, but if it is, I need that novel right now. ♥ And if not, I really hope that one day we can read about them too, I am so curious for their story.

Collins' roommate, Tabby, also a fantastic character, and the same goes for her too, I would love to read more about her. Oh, and I also really loved Caleb and Grady's friends, Alec and Bryce, they were also so amazing and funny, I really hope that Kaylee will write their story too, I would definitely read all those books. ♥

You make my heart race.

Taking everything into account, Remedy by Kaylee Ryan is a beautiful romance story about a second chance, and I really do think that romance readers will absolutely love this book. If you like best-friend's-sister/brother's-best-friend roamance stories, give this one a chance, I think you will like this one too.

It gets four stars from me. ♥
