Julia Westin egy határozott, ambiciózus, sikeres fiatal nő. Julia Bram-re mindig is úgy tekintett, mint a bátyja legjobb barátja, és semmi más. És igencsak tetszik neki, viszont nem akar engedni az érzéseinek. Bram viszont mindennél jobban elszánt, és bármire képes, hogy megszerezze élete szerelmét. De vajon sikerül is neki? Meghan Quinn regényeit egyszerűen nem lehet nem szeretni. És ezt a The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister című alkotásával is bebizonyította. Imádtam-imádtam-imádtam ezt a történetet. Már az írónőtől több könyvet is olvastam, viszont eddig magasan ez a legjobb szerintem. Vicces, számtalan alkalommal képest volt mosolyt csalni az arcomra, nagyon romantikus (ohhh Bram ♥), és ugyanakkor vannak benne érzelmesebb részek is, amelyek olvasása közben nem győz majd minden olvasó ábrándosan sóhajtozni.

Az írónő írásmódja pedig csak még jobban feltette a pontot az i-re, szerintem még mindig elképesztő, ahogyan Meghan képes fogalmazni. A történet egyetlen egy ponton sem laposodott el, végig fenntartotta az érdeklődésemet.

A karakterek pedig ZSENIÁLISAK. Főleg Bram. Ő az egyik legeslegjobb férfi karakter, akiről valaha is olvashattam. Imádtam, hogy céltudatos, határozott, viszont nem volt az a nagyon nagyképű főszereplő, akire az elején számítottam. Abszolút pozitív csalódás volt a számomra. Annyira nagyszerű, édes és humoros karakter. ♥ Garantáltan el fogja rabolni az összes olvasó szívét.

Julia-t is szerettem, szerintem kifejezetten jó karakter. Okos, sikeres, tudja, hogy mit akar, nem adja könnyen magát, viszont ez néha már egy picit sok volt. Értettem, hogy mit miért csinált, viszont szerintem már hamarabb is hallgathatott volna a szívére és az érzéseire.

A könyv másik fénypontja pedig Roarke és Rath. Nagyon, de nagyon, de tényleg nagyon bízom benne, hogy az írónő nekik is ad egy esélyt, és ők is megkapják a saját történeteiket.

I want someone I can take out and know they’ll be coming home with me. I want someone I can joke around with, someone who will like me for who I am and not the type of suit I wear. Hell, I want someone I can text at night other than your brother.

If I want to read a really good romance novel with lots and lots of funny moments, I pick up a book written by Meghan Quinn. I seriously love her books, and I really do think that The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister is one of her best novels. Why do I think that? Let's see...

The protagonist of the story is Bram Scott, who is in love with a woman for a long, like really long time. This woman is his best friend's sister, who is Julia Westin, and now he wants to win her heart and he decided that he won't stop until they are together. He has a plan, in his opinion, a very good plan. He decided that this year, he will be the one who loses their bet and because of that he has to go to Julia and she has to help him to find the love of his life. But, in that way, he manages to get closer to Julia, they almost meet every day, and he has a chance to make his plan work. But Julia is not that easy to get...

Julia Westin is a young, successful, hard-working woman. She only saw Bram as her brother's best friend, and she couldn't believe that a guy like him could feel anything for a girl like her. She always knew that Bram is not interested in realtionships, in marriage and he does not want kids. So she is kinda surprised when he appears in her office and asks her to help him find his true love.

Julia has her own dating company, she has her own methods and techinques, and Bram finds these a bit weird. But because of these questions and interviews, they get close to each other, but more importnatly, Julia finds out who is really Bram. And she likes him. A lot. But she does not want to admit it. On the other hand, Bram wants her, and he is willing to do anything to get her. But will he manages to do so? You can find out if you read The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister by Meghan Quinn.

You can't not love Meghan Quinn's novels. And she proved it with The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister, too. I adored-adored-adored this story. I have read several books by Meghan Quinn, but so far this one is my biggest favourite. It is so funny, it put a big smile on my face a lot of times, it is super romantic (ohhh Bram ♥), and also, there are some scenes that are more emotional and these will totally make you swoon.

I really love Meghan's writing style, too, I really do think that it is absolutely beautiful, it really made the whole book unputdownable.

The characters are GENIOUS. Especially Bram. He is one of the best characters I have ever read about. I adored that he knows what he wants, he is determined, but he was not that stuck-up man, actually he was sooo sweet, and awesome, and amazing and kind and funny. ♥ He will steal every reader's heart.

I liked Julia too, personally I believe that she is a good heroine. I liked that she was smart, successful, she is not really easy to get, but sometime I had a feeling that this "hard to get" thing was a little bit too much, I think she should have listen to her heart and feelings.

Also, I abslutely adored Roarke and Rath. I really-really-really-really hope that Meghan gives them a chance and one day we will read their stories too.

Taking everything into account, The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister by Meghan Quinn is a totally amazing novel. This is everything a romance reader wants. If you haven't read anything by Meghan yet, I can honestly recommend this one, it will make you want to read more and more. If you are alredy familiar with her work, then, it can be another one of your favourites, I am pretty sure that you will love this one too. Read it. ♥
