Ezt a posztot egy kedves barátnőmmel közösen készített könyves bejegyzéssorozat keretein belül hozom el nektek. Instagramon @shitofareaderslife felhasználónévvel találhatjátok meg, emellett pedig van egy blogja is, katt ide, ha ezt is meg szeretnétek nézni.

A mai bejegyzés során mind a ketten egy-egy sorozatot fogunk nektek ajánlani. Én az egyik legeslegnagyobb kedvencemet választottam, ami pedig nem más, mint Laura Thalassa The Bargainer című sorozata.

Laura Thalassa The Bargainer címet viselő sorozata négy kötetből áll, ebből az egyik egy novella, és ezek egy pár történetét mesélik el nekünk, a főszerepben Callie és Des áll.

Nekem személy szerint legjobban az első rész (a Rhapsodic) nyerte el a tetszésemet, de ennek ellenére is úgy gondolom, hogy a többi is méltó folytatása lett, bármikor szívesen újraolvasnám őket. Véleményem szerint az írónő nagyszerű munkát végzett ezzel a történettel, a világ felépítése nagyon részletesen ki lett dolgozva, de olvasás közben mégsem érzed azt, hogy belefulladsz az információáradatba. Szépen lassan a főhősnővel együtt fedezzük fel ezt az új világot. Rendkívül fordulatos, és egyáltalán nem kiszámítható a cselekménye, végig rettentően izgultam olvasás közben, fogalmam sem volt róla, hogy vajon mi fog történni.

A karakterekről se feledkezzünk meg. Callie nekem már az első perctől kezdve nagyon szimpatikus volt, csodáltam, hogy mennyire erős és kitartó. Imádtam a legjobb barátnőjét is, Tempest-et, a kettejük közös pillanatai kiváltképpen szórakoztatóra sikeredtek. És akkor ott van még Des... Hát, mit is mondhatnék róla? Mihelyst feltűnt a történetben, rögtön beleszerelmesedtem. ❤

Én őszintén nagyon tudom nektek ajánlani ezt a sorozatot, azt viszont muszáj megemlítenem, hogy azok fogják élvezni Callie és Des történetét, akik szeretik a dark romance műfaját is, hiszen ezek a kötetek elég komoly témákkal is foglalkoznak (szexuális zaklatás, gyilkosság, erőszak).

The Bargainer series by Laura Thalassa has four books, one of these is a novella, and the others are full lenght novels. Each and every book in this series focuses on one couple, Callie and Des.

My personal biggest favourite is the first one, which is titled Rhapsodic, however, I wholeheartedly love all of these novels, and I would reread these any given time. I really do think that the author did an amazing job with this story, the world building is very detailed, but you do not feel that you are basically drowning in information while you are reading. You slowly discover this whole new world with the heroine. This story has lots of twists and turns, the plot is absolutely not predictable, I was extremely excited and curious while I was reading these books, I had no idea what would happen next, my eyes were basically glued to the pages.

And now, let me say a few words about the characters. In my opinion, Callie is a super likeable character from the very beginning, I just admire how strong and determined she is. I really like her best friend, Tempest, too, the scenes in which they both appear are super entertaining. And Des... Oh my, what should I say about him? As soon as he appeared in the story, I fell head over heels in love with him. ❤

I can highly and honestly recommend this series to you, although I have to mention that I mostly recommend it to dark romance readers because these books deal with some serious issues (sexual assault, murder, violence).
