Könyvtári szerzemények – Szeptemberi kiadás | Library haul – September edition

Néhány nappal ezelőtt ismét ellátogattam a helyi könyvtárba, és ezúttal sem tértem haza üres kézzel, négy szépséget kölcsönöztem ki. Nem igazán volt tervem arra, hogy mit is szeretnék kihozni magammal, szóval ez most egy elég random útra sikeredett.

 

Szóval, ez alkalommal a következő regényeket kölcsönöztem ki:

↠ Leiner Laura: Szent Johanna Gimi – Kalauz

↠ Leiner Laura: Bábel

↠ Julie Kagawa: Vaslovag

↠ Tracy Wolff: Sóvárgás

 

 

Amikor megláttam a Kalauzt a polcon, akkor elfogott egy olyan érzés, hogy nekem ez bizony most kell. A Kalauzt akkor olvastam utoljára, amikor első alkalommal kerítettem sort a Szent Johanna Gimire, az pedig már jó néhány éve volt. Most leginkább a törölt részek vonzottak benne.

A Szent Johanna Gimi mellett ott pihent a Bábel is, és mivel azt is elég rég olvastam már újra, úgy gondoltam, jó lenne erre is mostanában sort keríteni. Ebben a borongós, esős, hideg őszi időben felüdülés lesz a nyári időszakról olvasni.

Az egyetlen könyv, aminek a kölcsönzésén már régóta gondolkoztam, az Julie Kagawa Vaslovag című alkotása. A Vastündérek sorozatot is már nagyon régen olvastam, de akkor hihetetlenül imádtam. Akkoriban még csak három kötet volt megvásárolható magyar nyelven is, szóval csak ennyit olvastam belőle. Most viszont tervezem, hogy újraolvasom őket, hogy aztán a Vaslovagra is sort keríthessek. Ráadásul a könyvtárban a sorozat új borítóval található meg, amelyek elképesztően szépre sikeredtek, nekem sokkal jobban tetszenek, mint az eredetiek. Ilyen is ritkán fordul elő velem, általában nem szeretem a borítóátalakulásokat, de ezek kifejezetten gyönyörűek lettek.

Tracy Wolff Sóvárgás című regényéről már én is sok jót hallottam. A könyvtárban is felfigyeltem rá, azonban először csak elmentem mellette, nézelődtem, aztán csak visszatértem hozzá. Elolvastam a fülszövegét, ami szinte egyből felkeltette az érdeklődésemet, szóval ő is jött velem haza.

A few days ago, I have visited my local library, and I have not only brought back the books I previously borrowed, but I have gotten some new beauties to take home with me. I have not really had any plans on what I should borrow, so this was a pretty random library trip.

 

The books I have borrowed are the following:

↠ Kalauz by Laura Leiner

↠ Bábel by Laura Leiner

↠ the Hungarian translation of The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa

↠ the Hungarian translation of Crave by Tracy Wolff

 

 

Kalauz by Laura Leiner is basically a collection of deleted scenes, behind the scenes and Q&A sections about her series titled Szent Johanna Gimi. I have read it only once when I have picked this series this series up for the very first time. I am mostly excited for rereading the deleted scenes.

Besides the Szent Johanna Gimi books, there was another book of hers, which is titled Bábel. It is a young adult romance too, and it has been quite a while since I have reread it, so I thought it would be good to read about some of my favourite characters again. Here, the weather is not so nice, it has been cold and cloudy and rainy for days, so it will be nice to read a book that takes place during the summer months.

The only book I have been planning on borrowing from the library was The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa. I have read the Iron Fey series so many years ago, and I really loved it. Back then, only three books were released in Hungarian, so I have not read the last book yet. But now, I am planning on rereading those books so I can finally pick up The Iron Knight too. Moreover, in this library, they have the whole Iron Fey series with the new covers, and I think they are so incredibly stunning, actually, I love them a lot more than the original ones. It is a very rare stuff with me, most of the time I prefer the original covers, but I do think that the new covers of the Iron Fey books are just so gorgeous.

I have heard a lot of great things about Crave by Tracy Wolff. When I first saw it in the library, I did not really pay a lot of attention to it, but after wandering through the shelves, I went back to where it was. I quickly read the blurb, and it made me super excited for this story, so I brought it with me.
