Ahogy azt mr a blogbejegyzés címéből tudhatjátok, bizony, Laura Thalassa teljes The Bargainer sorozata új borítókat fog kapni. Őszintén megmondva, már akkor vegyes érzések kavarogtak bennem, amikor az írónő bejelentette az új borítók érkezését, de már látva is őket... hát, azt kell mondjam, hogy hatalmasat csalódtam.

Hatalmas rajongója vagyok Des & Callie történetének, minden fantasy rajongónak teljes szívemből tudom ajánlani, de nekem egyáltalán nem tetszenek az új borítók. Az eredetiek szerintem tökéletesen reprezentálták a sorozatot, visszaadták a történet hangulatát, de ezek az újak annyira... csicsásak. Valahogy úgy nekem semmi sem igazán passzol ezeken a borítókon, nekem olyan hatást kelt, mintha csak egy csomó random elemet összedobáltak volna egymással.

Ha szeretnétek, még beszerezhetitek ezeket a könyveket a régi borítókkal, az írónő elmondása szerint az újak az elkövetkezendő néhány hónapban fogják átvenni a régiek helyét, szóval még van egy kis időtök a vásárlásra.

As the title of this blog post already suggest, yes, the Bargainer books by Laura Thalassa have brand new covers. To be completely honest, I had very mixed feelings about this cover rereveal even when it was first announced, but now, seeing them... I feel so super disappointed.

I am a huge fan of Des & Callie’s story, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy romances, but I just can not say that I love the new covers, because I do not. In my opinion, the original covers are so perfect for this series, it has the perfect vibe for this story, but these new ones are just... so flashy. I think the elements of the new covers do not match and do not look good together, these are like just random stuff thrown together.

If you want, you can still get these books with the original covers, according to Laura Thalassa, the new ones will replace the old covers over the next few months, so you still have some time.
