Sziasztok! :)

Mostanában elég ritkán szoktam nyomtatott könyveket vásárolni (ami amúgy nem nagy baj, van pont elég olvasatlan példányom, és ezekre is ideje lenne már sort kerítenem), de amikor Molyon megláttam, hogy eladó a teljes Rugby sorozat, egyszerűen nem tudtam ellenállni nekik, nem hagyhattam ott őket. És mivel az utóbbi időben nem olyan gyakori jelenség nálam a magánkönyvtáram fizikai könyvekkel való gyarapítása (ezeken kívül csak egyet vettem júliusban, és ez már nálam hatalmas dolognak számít), úgy gondoltam, muszáj lesz megmutatnom nektek, milyen szépségek érkeztek hozzám.

Egy kedves molytól sikerült beszereznem ezeket a könyveket, tehát használtan vásároltam őket, de abszolút nem látszik rajtuk, hogy olvasva voltak, teljesen új állapotban vannak. Ráadásul, a The Hooker and the Hermit kivételével mindegyik dedikált példány.

Amellett, hogy nagyon jó áron sikerült hozzájutnom ezekhez a könyvekhez, azért is éreztem azt, hogy nekem ezek márpedig kellenek, mert tavaly év végén olvastam el a The Player and the Pixie-t, amely számomra nem csak a 2021-es év, hanem életem egyik legjobb könyve. Akkoriban egy elég nagy olvasói válságból próbáltam megtalálni a kiutat, és úgy gondoltam, hogy egy jó kis humoros romantikus regény segítségemre lenne. Ezzel a könyvvel már régóta szemezgettem, és úgy voltam vele, hogy miért is ne kezdenék neki az olvasásának. És szó szerint faltam a sorokat. Ezután elolvastam a The Cad and the Co-Ed-et is, ami nagyon jó volt, bár számomra nem tudta túlszárnyalni a The Player and the Pixie-t.

Szóval, mivel ennyire szerettem ezeket a könyveket, nagy vágyam volt az, hogy végre nyomtatott formában is a gyűjteményem részeivé váljanak, és amikor megláttam, hogy a Molyon eladásra kínálták az egész sorozatot, egyszerűen nem hagyhattam ott őket. Mivel ennek a vásárlásnak köszönhetően az össze könyv a birtokomban van, még az idén sort is szeretnék keríteni rájuk, bízom benne, hogy sikerülni is fog. Addig is, ha egy jó kis humorral megfűszerezett romantikus történetre vágytok, bátran merem figyelmetekbe ajánlani L. H. Cosway és Penny Reid Rugby sorozatát. ❤

Recently, I have not really been buying any new paperbacks (which is absolutely not a problem, I have way too many unread paperbacks and it would be good to read at least a few of those before I add more to my own library), but when I saw that the entire Rugby series is on sale on a Hungarian book community site called Moly, I just simply could not help myself, I could not leave them there. And because I was strong and have not really been buying any new paperbacks in the past few months (okay, besides these, I have only bought one, and that is a huge thing for me), I wanted to show you my new beauties.

I have bought these books from a reader, so yeah they are second-hand books, but they are just like new and in perfect condition. Honestly, you can not even tell they were read at all, their previous owner took great care of them. Moreover, except for The Hooker and the Hermit, all of them are signed!

Apart from their great price, I felt that this was the perfect time to get them because last year in December, I read The Player and the Pixie for the very first time, and for me, it is not just one of the best books I read in 2021, but one of the best books I have ever read. At that time, I was trying to get out of a huge reading slump, and I thought a romcom would help me to get into reading again. This book had been on my tbr for a long time, so I thought I should read it. And it was the perfect decision, my eyes were basically glued to my Kindle. After finishing The Player and the Pixie, I picked up The Cad and the Co-Ed too, and while I liked it, for me, it just was not as good as The Player and the Pixie.

So, because I liked these books, I wanted to have their paperback versions too, and when I saw them on sale, I just had to buy them. Now that I have the entire series in paperback form, I am planning on reading them this year, hopefully, I will manage to do so. And if you are looking for a series filled with laughter and love, I can highly recommend the Rugby series by L. H. Cosway and Penny Reid to you. ❤
