Akkor fogalmazódott meg bennem annak az ötlete, hogy jó
lenne néha-néha ilyen rövidebb „aktuális olvasmányaim” bejegyzéssel is jelentkeznem
a blogomat, amikor Jennifer L. Armentrout Obszidián című kötetében Katy megemlítette,
hogy ilyeneket is posztolni szokott. Szóval ezt a bejegyzést az ő karaktere
inspirálta.
És ezzel már így el is árultam, hogy melyik kötet a jelenlegi olvasmányaim egyike. Jennifer L. Armentrout Luxen sorozatát már régóta újra szerettem volna olvasni, néhány nappal ezelőtt pedig ki is kölcsönöztem öt kötetét a könyvtárból, és még aznap este bele is vetettem magam Katy és Daemon történetébe. Most is ugyanannyira imádom, mint a legelső olvasás alkalmával, bár az is igaz, hogy sokat felejtettem belőle, így akadnak meglepetések is, de nagyon élvezem. Jelenleg az Ónix felénél tartok.
Rina Kent God of Malice könyve még befejezésre vár nálam.
Július 14.-én kezdtem el olvasni, azonban az első fejezet végéig sem értem el
azóta sem. Annyira intenzív, és nagyon, de nagyon sötét volt, hogy akkor azt
éreztem, hogy muszáj egy kicsit pihentetnem a dolgot. És ez a helyzet még mindig
változatlan, azóta sem haladtam egy sornyit sem vele. Nagyon, de nagyon
szeretném olvasni, hiszen olyan sok jót olvastam már róla, de ha csak az első
fejezetben történtekre gondolok, még mindig azt érzem, hogy erre nem állok
készen.

24.-én kezdtem el olvasni, és akkor nagyon is tetszett a történet, bár az már
annyira nem, hogy a romantikus szál nagyon döcögősen akar beindulni. Valahogy
útközben egy kicsit visszaesett az érdeklődésem, a 286. volt az utolsó oldal,
amit elolvastam. Múlt hétvégén hazautaztam, viszont nem vittem magammal
semmilyen könyvet. Na, ezt utána nagyon megbántam, mert pont akkor támadt
kedvem A kegyetlen herceg olvasásához. Ebből is látszik, hogy milyen szuper
szerencsés vagyok.
Azóta viszont nem igazán kerített hatalmába ilyesfajta
érzés. Félbehagyni semmiképpen sem akarom, inkább várok arra, hogy valamikor
ismét késztetést érezzek a befejezésére.

The idea of posting about my current reads came to me when I started to reread the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. If you have read it, you know that the heroine, Katy, is a bookworm and she also has a blog, and in Obsidian, she mentions that every Wednesday, she posts about what she is currently reading. I liked this idea, so this post was completely inspired by her.
And just by writing this little introduction for this post, I have already revealed one of my current reads. I really wanted to reread the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, and a few days ago, I borrowed the Lux books from the library, and that day, I immediately started to reread Obsidian. I love Katy and Daemon’s story as much as I loved it for the first time, although I forgot a lot, so there are some surprises for me, but it is really enjoyable. I am currently rereading Onyx, and I am already halfway through.
I still have not finished God of Malice by Rina Kent. I have started to read it on July 14th, however, I have not even managed to finish the first chapter. It is so intense and dark, I just felt that I need to take a break before I dive back into it. And I still have not picked it up, I have not read a word from this book. I would really love to continue it because I have read so many amazing things about this novel, but when I think about what happens in the first chapter, I just feel that I am still not ready for it.
I have started to read the Hungarian translation of The Cruel Prince by Holly Black way back in April, more exactly, I have started it on April 24th, and unfortunately, I still have not finished it. When I started it, I was so invested in the story, the only thing I did and still do not like is the fact that the romance is kinda slow in it. I lost interest in it, the last sentence I read was on page 286 (it is 428 pages long). I went home last weekend, and and when I visit my parents, most of the time, I do not bring any paperbacks with me. So, I did not bring any with me that weekend either. And I really regret it, because I was in the mood for reading The Cruel Prince, but because I did not have it with me, I could not continue it. So yeah, I am so super lucky.
Since then, sadly, I have not really felt the urge to pick it up again. I do not want to dnf it, I am waiting for the moment when I feel that I must read it.
