Minden egyes alkalommal, amikor egy Bishop kötet kerül a kezembe olyan érzés fog el, mintha hosszú idő után ismét hazatérnék. És amikor ismét el kell hagynom ezt a világot? Hát, enyhén szóval egy szívfacsaró érzés fog el. Az írónők jelenlegi tervei szerint még hat kötettel fog bővülni a Circle B Ranch sorozat, és én ennek nagyon is örülök, már alig várom, hogy jobban megismerhessem a kedvenc párjaim gyermekeit; de ugyanakkor minden egyes regény megjelenésével egyre közelebb és közelebb kerülünk a sorozat végéhez, és én még nagyon nem állok készen arra, hogy búcsút intsek kedvenc karaktereimnek. A Bishop Brothers és a Circle B Ranch kötetekkel tökéletesen le lehet írni, hogy milyen is egy elbűvölő romantikus könyvsorozat. Ha egy kisvárosban játszódó történetre vágytok éppen, akkor a Kennedy Fox regényekkel sosem nyúltok mellé, ezalól a Wrangling the Cowboy sem kivétel, őszintén és tiszta szívemből tudom minden romantikus regény rajongónak ajánlani Gavin és Maize történetét. ❤

Maize Bishop John és Mila idősebbik lánya, ha esetleg az ő történetükre is kíváncsiak vagytok, akkor olvassátok el a Chasing Him-et, de őszintén megmondva, ne csak ezt olvassátok el, hanem az összes Bishop kötetet, higgyétek el, hogy nem fogjátok megbánni. Lehet, hogy soknak tűnik, de ha egyszer elkezditek olvasni ezt a sorozatot, akkor már egyből máshogy fogtok a könyvek mennyiségéről gondolkodni. Én olvastam az eddig megjelent összes Bishop regényt, és még most sem tudok betelni velük, már tűkön ülve várom a Bossing the Cowboy megjelenését. De most egy kicsit térjünk is vissza a Wrangling the Cowboy cselekményére, majd még később áradozom nektek erről a családról. ;)
Ha esetleg már olvastátok a Catching the Cowboy-t, akkor bizonyára tudhatjátok, hogy mi a Wrangling the Cowboy alaphelyzetet. Maize egy áldott tehetség a konyhában, remek ízlése van a főzéshez és a sütéshez. Miután elvégezte a szakácsképzést, ahelyett, hogy egy étterembe ment volna dolgozni, hazatért és ő kapta meg a családja vendéglőjében a főszakácsi posztot. Jelenleg a húszas évei közepén jár, még nagyon fiatal, előtte az egész élet, azonban néhány évvel ezelőtt sikerült úgy megégetnie magát egy párkapcsolatban, ami miatt egy kicsit nehezebben megy neki az ismerkedés. A volt barátja olyan mély sebet hagyott a szívén, hogy Maize megfogadta, soha többé nem fog olyan férfival randizni, aki ugyanott dolgozik, ahol ő is, azaz a Circle B Panzióban. Ezt a saját maga felállított szabályát egészen addig be is tudta tartani amíg Gavin Fox meg nem jelent kisvárosukban.

out. Plus, he’s not related to you.”
“Dude,
thanks.” Grayson grunts. “The girls around here are batshit crazy.”
“Hey,”
I scold. “Maybe we’re just not willing to put up with your antics. Ever think
of that?”
“Antics?
Y’all must be talkin’ about Grayson.” Kenzie comes to Maize’s side, crossing
her arms over her chest.
“And
you’ve just made my point.” Grayson flicks a piece of sausage in his mouth.
“So
Gavin…” Kenzie directs her attention to him. “Heard Maize made you a nice
dinner last night.”
I
groan with an eye roll.
“She
sure did,” he responds wiht a smug grin. “Best meal I’ve ever had.”
“Well,
I just want to say…” Kenzie looks over her shoulder at me with a mischievous
smirk. “I’m rooting for you. But if she fails, I’m single. Just a heads-up…”
Oh my God, I’m gonna
kill her.❞
Gavin Fox a rodeó világában igazi hírességnek számít, többszörös bajnok, elképesztően tehetséges bikalovas a férfi. Gavin-nek hatalmas szenvedélye a rodeózás, imádott mindent, ami ezzel az élettel együtt járt, de most úgy érzi, hogy elég volt az utazgatásból és az életveszélyes versenyekből, készen áll végre letelepedni valahol. Erre pedig nem is találhatott volna tökéletesebb helyet Eldorado-nál. Azonban azt még ő sem sejthette, hogy ez a költözés ekkora változást hoz az életébe.
Az állásinterjúja után betér a Circle B Kocsmába, hogy kieressze egy kicsit a fáradt gőzt, és ekkor pillantja meg először Maize-t is. A
levegő szinte szikrázik kettejük között, bárki számára szemmel látható,
hogy mennyire is vonzódnak egymáshoz. Egy szenvedélyes éjszakát töltenek együtt, amit egyikőjük sem képes elfelejteni, de ez mit sem számít akkor, amikor Maize rájön, hogy Gavin azért érkezett ide, mert állást kapott a
birtokukon, hiszen ő lesz az az új alkalmazott, aki majd segít
Jackson-nak (aki Maize nagybátyja és egyben John ikertestvére) betörni a
vadlovakat. Maize ettől kezdve mindent megtesz, hogy minnél messzebb elkerülje Gavin-t, és szinte levegőnek nézi a férfit.
Vajon Maize képes lesz ellenállni Gavin-nek? Vagy túl későn jön rá, hogy érdemes lett volna ennek a kapcsolatnak egy második esélyt is adni? Megtudhatjátok, ha elolvassátok Kennedy Fox legújabb elképesztően imádnivaló regényét, a Wrangling the Cowboy-t.

what if he’s closer to dad’s age than ours. Big deal. There are some silver foxes

A Bishop családról olvasni az egyik legszívmelengetőbb dolog az egész világon. Ezek a karakterek szinte elárasztják az olvasót szeretettel és boldogsággal. Elképesztően gyorsan a végére lehet érni az összes kötetnek, és bár hónapokat várni a következő könyvre elsőre egy kicsit soknak tűnik, higgyétek el nekem, hogy abszolút megéri várni rájuk. A Wrangling the Cowboy beteljesítette minden reményemet, és még annál sokkal többet is adott nekem. ❤
Az én “mi is tetszett a Wrangling the Cowboy-ban” listám szinte már végtelenül hosszú. Különösen
imádtam a Maize és Kenzie között lévő testvéri kapcsot, annyira jó volt
látni, hogy ennyire támogatják egymást. Imádtam minden egyes közös
jelenetüket, imádtam, hogy tudnak egymással viccelődni, imádtam, hogy
ennyire odafigyelnek egymásra, imádtam, hogy bármi is történjen, mindig
ott voltak a másiknak. Röviden és tömören: imádtam, hogy ennyire szoros a
testvéri kapcsolatuk. És ha már Kenzie is szóba jött, akkor had mondjak
róla is néhány szót.
Kenzie egy igazi energiabomba, mindig meg tud
lepni azzal, amit mond. Róla bővebben majd a Winning the Cowboy-ban olvashatunk, hiszen ez lesz majd az ő története. Ennek a megjelenése még egy kicsit odébb van, de azért már a Wrangling the Cowboy
elolvasása után sejteni lehet, hogy milyen irányba is fog ez elmenni,
és azt kell, hogy mondjam, én már alig várom, hogy olvashassam ezt a
regényt is.
Hatalmas élmény volt ismét találkozni az előző kötetek szereplőivel is, de legjobban azokat a jeleneteket szerettem, amelyekben Riley és Diesel is feltűnt. Már a Hitching the Cowboy óta mindketten hatalmas kedvenceim, a Catching the Cowboy-ban sikerült még jobban megszeretnem őket, és most azzal a pár jelenettel a Wrangling the Cowboy-ban csak még jobban elvarázsoltak.
Bár ez a könyv John és Mila lányáról szólt, imádtam, hogy egy kis betekintést nyerhettünk Jackson és Kiera életébe is. Jackson, csak úgy mint mindig, minden egyes szavával képes lenyűgözni, Kiera-val még mindig eszméletlenül jó párost alkotnak. Azt eddig is lehetett tudni, hogy a Bishop család nagyon befogadó mindenkivel szemben, senki felett sem ítélkeznek, és most még egyszer bebizonyították, hogy ez tényleg így van, hiszen Gavin-t szinte már az első perctől kezdve családtagként kezelték.
John-t és Mila-t már a Bishop Brothers sorozatban is nagyon imádtam, az ő történetük pont olyan témájú, amit nagyon is szeretek (John egy egyedülálló apuka a Chasing Him-ben és Mila lesz a bébiszitter; szóval ha ti is szeretitek az ilyeneket, akkor mindenképpen érdemes ezt is elolvasnotok), az előző Cirlce B kötetekben is találkozhattunk már velük, szóval már nagyon izgatottan vártam az ő gyermekeik regényeit is. John és Mila még mindig az az álompár, akit a Chasing Him-ben is megismerhettünk, annyira jó volt látni, hogy még mindig ennyire szeretik egymást. ❤

my list, Grandma Bishop walks in wearing her million-dollar smile. Immediately,
she opens her arms and pulls me into a hug. (…)
Dad
walks in, sees Grandma and laughs. “Mama. Whatcha doin’ here?”
“I
leave the house, and y’all act like it’s a Christmas miracle. I’m not that old
yet. But since you’re so concerned, I was gettin’ ready for my quilt club
meeting and wanted to stop by and see you two on my way out,” she explains, but
her simle doesn’t falter.

“Okay,
well, if I’m being truthful, I heard you were making double chocolate ckae for
dinner. I told Scott that sugar wasn’t allowed in the house anymore because it’s
not good for our waistline. So, I thought I’d just grab a slice and be on my
way.”
Dad
snorts. “That’s cheatin’, Mama.”
“No,
no, it’s not. I said no more sugar was allowed in the house. The B&B isn’t
home, is it? Technically, I’m still following the rules I set.

After
cutting the biggest slice of cake I’ve ever seen, she places a plastic fork in
the container with it and then gives me a wink.
“You
never saw me. I wasn’t here.”

“Grandpa
showed up earlier. Trust me when I say he ate a stack of pancakes with extra,
extra syrup,” he tells me with a shit-eating grin.❞
Mama Bishop egy elképesztően szórakoztató személyiség, szerintem nincs nála jobb könyves anyuka/nagymama. Egyszerűen mindig képes mosolyt csalni mindenkinek az arcára, mindig alig várom, hogy újra és újra feltűnjön ő is néhány jelenetben. Az, amit ezelőtt a bekezdés előtt olvashattatok, az egyik legynagyobb kedvenc jelenetem a Wrangling the Cowboy-ból, egyszerűen nem bírtam abbanhagyni a nevetést, amikor ezt olvastam. És higyjétek el, van még ahonnan ez jött. ;) Egy kicsit még mindig reménykedem benne, hogy egy nap majd esetleg ő is kap egy könyvet, én nagyon szívesen olvasnék egy könyvet róla és a férjéről, Scott-ról. ❤
Ne feledkezzünk meg a könyv főszereplőiről sem. Maize és Gavin már az első pillanattól kezdve annyira tökéletesek voltak együtt. Hogy pontosan le is tudjam írni, mit is szerettem annyira kettejük kapcsolatában, részletesebb cselekményleírásokat kell használnom,de ahogy az minden értékelésemben lenni szokott, itt is csak akkor tudjátok majd elolvasni ezeket, ha ki is jelölitek ezt az egész részleget. ! SPOILER ! SPOILER ! SPOILER ! A rodeónapos fejezet az egyik legnagyobb kedvencem az egész regényben, végig egy hatalmas mosollyal az arcomon olvastam ezt a jelenetet, annyira tökéletes volt. ❤ Annyira jó volt őket együtt látni, imádtam, hogy a nap nagy részét együtt töltötték. Gavin hihetetlenül aranyos volt, amikor Maize érdeklődött a rodeózás iránt, látszott rajta, hogy mennyire jól esik neki, hogy Maize őszintén többet meg szeretett volna tudni erről a sportról. ❤
Hatalmas meglepetés volt számomra, hogy a vacsora után nem jött össze Gavin és Maize, legalábbis ekkor még nem alkotnak egy párt. Viszont ekkor este tényleg kibékülnek, egy igencsak őszinte pillanatnak lehetünk a szemtanúi, de a vacsora után külön vállnak útjaik. Nagyon-nagyon sajnáltam, hogy ez így lett, de teljesen meg tudtam érteni, hogy miért is ez lett a végkimenetele az estének. De a szívem akkor is majd megszakadt értük. Aztán Gavin felhozta azt, hogy Maize harcoljon meg érte és a kapcsolatukért; számomra ez egy hatalmas fordulat volt, romantikus regényekben nem sokszor lehet ilyesmiről olvasni. Vagy legalábbis én még nem nagyon találkoztam ilyennel, szóval nekem abszolút új volt az egész. És aztán, amikor ez a szál kezdett egyre jobban kibontakozni, akkor annyira örültem neki, hogy végül is nem jöttek össze egyből. Gavin is nagyon megszenvedte azt az időszakot, amikor Maize szinte levegőnek nézte, szóval minden oka megvolt rá, hogy ő is bizalmatlan legyen. Maize hatalmas meglepetést okozott nekem, már az előző könyvekben is nagyon szimpatikus volt, de most ebben a regényben nagyon megszerettette magát velem. Nagyon látszott rajta, hogy tényleg készen áll egy komoly kapcsolatra, pontosabban a Gavin-nel való kapcsolatra. Annyira jó volt látni, hogy Gavin-t is mennyire meghatotta, hogy mennyire odafigyelt Maize minden apró kis részletre vele kapcsolatban. A végtelenségig tudtam volna olvasni ezt a regényt, annyira ellenállhatatlanul imádnivaló volt. ❤ ! VÉGE A SPOILER RÉSZLEGNEK !
És most had mondjak egy pár szót az epilógusról és a Bossing the Cowboy-ról. Nem csak a karaktereket érte hatalmas meglepetés, hanem engem is. Konkrétan még most sem tudom felfogni, hogy tényleg ez történt. Az nem titok, hogy a követketkező Circle B Ranch kötet Elizabeth Bishop-ról fog szólni, aki Evan és Emily idősebbik lánya, az ő történetüket a Needing Him-ben ismerhetitek meg. Ha már régebbóta követtek engem, akkor lehet, hogy nem újdonság, de most is megemlítem, hogy nekem a Bishop Brothers sorozatban a Needing Him a legnagyobb kedvencem, szóval már nagyon izgatott vagyok, hogy végre az ő gyermekei történeteit is olvashassam. Eddig sajnos Evan és Emily nem kaptak olyan nagy szerepet a Circle B Ranch regényekben, ami teljesen érthető is a munkájuk miatt (mind a ketten egy kórházban dolgoznak), szóval már nagyon várom, hogy Elle és Ethan (Elle öccse) köteteiben ismét találkozhassak velük. Elle-lel már az előző kötetekben is lehetett találkozni, a Wrangling the Cowboy-ban is kapott egy viszonylag nagyobb szerepet, szóval már bőven lehet sejteni, hogy mi is a Bossing the Cowboy alaphelyzete. Viszont a Wrangling the Cowboy epilógusa csavart egy jó nagyot Elle és Connor helyzetén. Szerintem nem túlzás azt mondani, hogy elég érdekes helyzetbe fognak kerülni, mikor a következő munkanapon ismét együtt kell dolgozniuk. És én már annyira izgatottan várom, hogy olvashassak róluk. ;)

Mindent figyelembe véve, véleményem szerintem a Bishopok alkotják a legeslegjobb könyves családot. Ha egy édes, humoros és nagyon szenvedélyes történetet szeretnétek olvasni, akkor szerintem a Wrangling the Cowboy el fogja nyerni a tetszéseteket. Azok az olvasók, akik szeretik a Kennedy Fox könyveket, nagyon könnyen bele fognak szerelmesedni a Circle B Ranch legújabb és ellenállhatatlanul imádnivaló kötetébe; és azok, akik még nem olvastak az írónőktől... hát, öveket becsatolni és álljatok készen, mert ezek a karakterek biztosan be fogják lopni magukat a szívetekbe. Ha egyszer valaki elkezd olvasni erről a családról, akkor onnan már nincs viszaút.

Every time I pick up a Bishop book by Kennedy Fox, it feels like I am coming home after a long time. And when you have to leave? That is heartbreaking, to say the least. There will be six more books in the Circle B Ranch world, I am so excited to read more about them and get to know better each and every Bishop sibling, but at the same time, we are getting closer and closer to the end and I can honestly say that I am not ready to say goodbye. The Bishop Brothers and the Circle B Ranch series are the perfect definitons of a captivating romance book series, these novels are beyond addictive. If you are in mood for a small town romance, you can never go wrong with their stories, and Wrangling the Cowboy was no exeption, I can wholeheartedly recommend Gavin and Maize’s story to every romance lover. ❤

As the blurb of Wrangling the Cowboy already suggests, this is Maize Bishop’s book, who is John and Mila’s elder daughter from Chasing Him. If you want to read about them first, I can highly recommend that novel to you, but honestly, I can say the very same about every Bishop book, trust me, you will thank me later. I have read each and every book in the Bishop Brothers series and I have read all the published books featuring the kids too, and I still can not get enough of them, I’m already waiting on pins and needles for the release of Bossing the Cowboy. But right now, let’s get back to Wrangling the Cowboy, because there are a lot to say about this novel too, and I will talk about how much I love this family and this series a little bit later. ;)
If you have already read Catching the Cowboy, then you may already know something about the basic situation of Wrangling the Cowboy. Maize has a talent for cooking and baking, she is excellent in the kitchen. After graduating from culinary school, instead of working for restaurants, she decides that she wants to go home and work for her family’s bed & breakfast. Her family and every guest of in the Circle B Bed & Breakfast is simply obsessed with everything she creates, working there is almost like a dream coming true.
Maize is very young, she is in her twenties, the whole life is in front of her, however, a few years ago, she got out of a relationship really hurt and disappointed, and because of that, she is super careful with men. Her ex-boyfriend broke her heart so bad that she set up a rule: she will never ever date a man who is the employee of her family and basically works at the same place as she does. And she successfully manages to follow this rule, well, until Gavin Fox shows up in her hometown.

Gavin…” Kenzie directs her attention to him. “Heard Maize made you a nice

groan with an eye roll.
“She
sure did,” he responds wiht a smug grin. “Best meal I’ve ever had.”
“Well,
I just want to say…” Kenzie looks over her shoulder at me with a mischievous
smirk. “I’m rooting for you. But if she fails, I’m single. Just a heads-up…”

my God, I’m gonna kill her.❞
We can say that Gavin Fox is the superstar of the rodeo world, he is a champion, he is an extremely talented bull rider. Gavin is very passionate about this sport, he loves everything that the rodeo life entails, but right now he has a feeling that he had enough of the travelling and risking his life during competitions, and he is more than ready to finally settle down. To be honest, he could not have found a more place for his plan than Eldorado. However, the moving and the new job brings something, or rather somenone, into his life
After
his job interview, he goes to the Circle B Saloon to blow off some steam and to relax a little, and
that is when he first catches sight of Maize, who is also there because she wants to spend some more time with her younger sister, Kenzie. The chemistry between Maize and Gavin is pretty strong, it is pretty clear to anyone who sees them together how much they are attracted to each other. They spend
a night full of passion together, that none of them can forget, but that doesn’t even matter
when Maize realizes that Gavin came here because from now on he will work on their family’s
property, he will be the new employee who will help Jackson (who is
Maize’s uncle and John’s twin brother) breaking in the wild horses. After Maize finds this out, she does everything he can to avoid Gavin as far as possible, she tries her best to ignore him and basically she only talks to him if she really has to and if she does not have another choice.
Will Maize be able to resist Gavin? Or will it be too late to give this relationship a second chance when she realizeses that Gavin is everything she needs? You
can find out if you read Kennedy Fox’s latest incredibly adorable novel,
Wrangling the Cowboy.

Reading
about the Bishop family is one of the most heartwarming thing on the
world. These characters surround you with all the love and happiness. You can super easily devour each and every book about them, and while waiting months for the new addition seems a lot, trust me, it is worth it. Wrangling the Cowboy is everything I hoped for and a lot more. ❤
My “what I loved about Wrangling the Cowboy” is basically endless. In
particular, I love the sibling relationship between Maize and Kenzie, they do have a special bond, it is so good to see
that they support each other so much. I love the scenes in which they appear together, I love that they can joke with each other so freely, but at the same time, they share many honest moments and they can share and talk about anything with each other, they really pay attention to each other, I love that whatever happens they can count on each other. Briefly and succinctly, I love that they have such a strong sibling relationship. And now that I have mentioned Kenzie, let me talk a little bit about her.
Kenzie is so full of energy, she can always surprise me with the words coming out of her mouth. We will get to know her more in Winning the Cowboy, because yes, this will be her book. The release date of this novel is a little bit far away right now, but by just reading Wrangling the Cowboy, we get so many hints about her story, you can easily guess the trope, and I must say, I can not wait to read Winning the Cowboy.
It
was astonishing to meet almost every character from the previous books, some of my biggest favourite scenes are the ones with Riley and Diesel. These two have a special place in my heart since the release of Hitching the Cowboy, I have fallen deeply in love with them in Catching the Cowboy, and now in Wrangling the Cowboy they managed to amaze me again.
Although this book is about one of John and Mila’s daughters, I loved that we get a little insight into Jackson and Kiera’s
life too. Jackson, just like always, can amaze and entertain you with every word he says, he and Kiera still make such a marvelous couple. ❤ If you are familiar with these characters, you know that the Bishops are a very
welcoming family, they do not judge anyone, and now in the newest addition to the Circle B Ranch series, they prove that this statement is
still true, they treat Gavin basically like a family member from the very beginning.
I really adored John and Mila in the Bishop Brothers series, their story deals with a topic I wholeheartedly enjoy (John is a single dad in Chasing Him and he hires Mila to be the babysitter; so if you guys like this trope, just check out this book too, it is the best single dad/nanny novel I have ever read). We can meet them in the previous Circle B Ranch books too, they have some smaller roles in those stories too, but I was so impatient to read more about them in their kids’ books.
John and Mila are still the same perfect dream couple we can get to know in Chasing Him, it was so good
to see they are still so much in love with each other. ❤
❝Just as I’m wrapping up
my list, Grandma Bishop walks in wearing her million-dollar smile. Immediately,
she opens her arms and pulls me into a hug. (…)
Dad
walks in, sees Grandma and laughs. “Mama. Whatcha doin’ here?”
“I
leave the house, and y’all act like it’s a Christmas miracle. I’m not that old
yet. But since you’re so concerned, I was gettin’ ready for my quilt club
meeting and wanted to stop by and see you two on my way out,” she explains, but
her simle doesn’t falter.

“Okay,
well, if I’m being truthful, I heard you were making double chocolate ckae for
dinner. I told Scott that sugar wasn’t allowed in the house anymore because it’s
not good for our waistline. So, I thought I’d just grab a slice and be on my
way.”
Dad
snorts. “That’s cheatin’, Mama.”
“No,
no, it’s not. I said no more sugar was allowed in the house. The B&B isn’t
home, is it? Technically, I’m still following the rules I set.

After
cutting the biggest slice of cake I’ve ever seen, she places a plastic fork in
the container with it and then gives me a wink.
“You
never saw me. I wasn’t here.”

“Grandpa
showed up earlier. Trust me when I say he ate a stack of pancakes with extra,
extra syrup,” he tells me with a shit-eating grin.❞
Mama Bishop is such an incredibly entertaining
person, I really do think that she is the best bookish mom/grandmother. She can simply always
put a smile on everyone’s face, and I can’t wait for her to appear in a few scenes every single time when I am reading a Bishop book. The quote you can read before this paragraph is actually one of my biggest favourite scenes from Wrangling the Cowboy, and I just could not stop laughing when I was reading this chapter.
And believe me, there is more where this came from. To be completely honest with you I still hope that one day we will get her book, it would be so much fun, and I would love to read a book about her and
her husband, Scott. Fingers crossed. ❤
Let’s not forget about the main characters either. Maize and Gavin are so perfect together from the very first
moment. To describe what I loved so much in their relationship I have to use spoilers, but as I do in every review I write, this entire spoiler section will be hidden, so you can only read it if you purposefully highligh it with your mouse. ! SPOILER ALERT ! SPOILER ALERT ! SPOILER ALERT ! The rodeo day chapter is
one of my biggest favourites in this novel, and I was reading this scene with a huge smile on my face, it was so perfect. I loved seeing the whole Bishop family together, I loved reading about Gavin and Maize spending their time together, and I
loved that they spend most of the day together. Gavin is incredibly cute when Maize starts to ask questions about bull riding, she seems really curious, and while you are reading this part, you can just feel that the fact that Maize
wants to know more about this sport makes Gavin so happy. ❤
It was a big surprise to me that, after the dinner Maize planned for Gavin, they do not get back together, they are not a couple (well, at least they are not a couple yet). They do make up and they have a very honest moment, they talk about their feelings, but they do not get their happily ever after yet. I was very, very sorry that they did not get it then, but I could fully understand why it happened. Still, my heart broke
for them. But then Gavin brought up that now it is time for Maize to fight for their relationship and to fight for him, she has to prove him that he means something to her. And for me it was a huge turn of events, it is not often that you can read about this kind of situation in romance novels. Or at least before Wrangling the Cowboy, I have not read any book like that, so it was totally new to me. And then this storyline starts to unravels, and to be honest I was so happy that they did not get together right after the dinner. Gavin
had suffered a lot when Maize was ignoring him and said every time that she did not remember spending the night with him,
so he had every reason to not trust her so easily. Maize was a huge surprise for me, I really liked her in the previous Circle B books too, but now in this novel, she really made me adore her. It
was very clear that she was really ready for a serious relationship, more
specifically, she was ready for a serious relationship with Gavin. It is super wonderful to see that it means so much to Gavin that Maize listens and pays attention to every little detail about him, his reactions are so loveable. I did not want this book to end, it was so irresistibly sweet. ❤ ! END OF THE SPOILER SECTION !
And
now, let me tell you a few words about the epilogue and Bossing the Cowboy. The epilogue not only has a few surprises in store for the characters, it also gives the reader some shocking revelations. In fact, I still
can not believe that this has really happened, and I have finished reading this book like a week ago, and I could still not process events of that day. It is not secret that the next
Circle B Ranch book will be about Elizabeth Bishop, who is the
elder daughter of Evan and Emily (if have not read the Bishop Books yet, they are the main characters of Needing Him, highly recommend it if you like enemies-to-lovers and office romance). If
you have been following me for a longer time, it might not be news for you, but my biggest favourite novel in the Bishop Brothers series is definitely Needing Him, so I am super excited to finally read about and get to know their children. Unfortunately, Evan and
Emily do not have a big role in the already published Circle B Ranch novels, which
is perfectly understandable because of their profession (Evan and Emily work in the same hospital), so I really look forward to meeting them again in Elle’s and
Ethan’s (he is Elle’s younger brother) stories. If you have read the Hitching the Cowboy and Catching the Cowboy, you have already met her, but in Wrangling the Cowboy she has a relatively larger role too, so basically if you read any of these books, you will know a lot about the basic situation of Bossing the Cowboy.
On the other hand, the epilogue of Wrangling the Cowboy brings a huge twist into the picture. So, to say the least, I think they will find themsleves in a rather interesting situation when they have to work together again on
the next business day. And I am so ready for it. ;)

Taking everything into account, in my opinion, the Bishops are still the best bookish family ever. If you are looking for a sweet, funny and passionate book with a hint of angst, then you will love Wrangling the Cowboy. Kennedy Fox fans will easily and very quickly fall in love with this new and irresistibly cute addition of
the Bishop world, and those who are new… well buckle up and get ready guys, because these characters are more than ready to steal your heart. Once you start reading about this family, there is no going
back. ❤
