And I’m enlisting the help of my two adorable daughters. I know, you should never use your kids to get laid, but whoever said that hadn’t gone five years without any. Or they’re lying to you.

Don’t go calling protective services on me. Everything I’m having them do is completely harmless. I mean, it’s totally okay to bribe your kids with cookies to slash her tires so she can’t leave. And it’s fine to have them steal the battery out of her car. Okay, I helped with that one. Hello, they can’t carry a car battery. They can’t even clean their room, or so they tell me.

Also, just so we’re clear on how far you can take it, it’s no big deal to have your three-year-old fake an injury to get alone time with her. I’m sure all single dad’s do that.

A little white lie never hurt anyone.

Until her lie finds her and I begin to question everything she’s told me about the night we met.

Ha esetleg követtek Instagramon vagy már ezelőtt olvastatok tőlem blogbejegyzést, akkor már lehet, hogy tudjátok, hogy elképesztően imádom az olyan történeteket, amiben a férfi főhős egy egyedülálló apuka. Ne is kérdezzétek, hogy miért, fogalmam sincs, hogy miért pont ezeket a könyveket szeretem a legjobban, valamiért ezek tudják a leggyorsabban belopni magukat a szívembe, és ezeket is olvasom újra a legtöbbször. És nem számít, hogy hányszor olvasom újra az ilyen könyveket, sosem tudom megunni őket. Szóval igen, egyszerűen nem tudok ellenállni az egyedülálló apukás történeteknek, és mindig annyira izgatott vagyok, ha egy újabbat sikerül felfedeznem.

Néhány nappal ezelőtt belebotlottam Shey Stahl hamarosan megjelenő regényének a borítóleleplezésébe, és azt nyugodtan ki merem jelenteni, hogy ez az egyik legcukibb borító, amit valaha láttam. Ennek a bejegyzésnek a bevezetése után már valószínűleg sejthetitek, hogy igen, egy egyedülálló apukás történetről van most szó. ~~boldog tánc~~ Miután teljesen beleszerelmesedtem a borítóba, a fülszövegét is elolvastam, ami sikeresen egy hatalmas mosolyt csalt az arcomra. Oké, bárcsak már március lenne. Most még ez olyan messzinek tűnik, és én már annyira szeretném olvasni ezt a könyvet. Shey Stahl When We Met című regénye várhatóan március 10.-én fog megjelenni és már most egy elképesztően szórakoztató és rendkívül imádnivaló történetnek tűnik. Alig várom már, hogy olvashassam! ❤

If you follow me on Instagram or if you have read any blog posts by me before this one, then you may already know that I am a huge fan of single dad romances. Don’t ask me why, I have no idea, I always fall in love so easily with these novels and I could reread them a thousand times without getting bored. So yeah, I am a sucker for single dad romances, and I am so so happy and excited when I discover a new one.

A few days ago I stumbled upon Shey Stahl’s upcoming novel’s cover reveal, and let me tell you it is one of the cutest covers I have ever seen. After the introduction of this post you might have guessed, that yes, her new release will be a single dad romance. ~~happy dance~~ After I totally fell in love with the cover, I read the blurb too, and oh my goodness it put a huge smile on my face. Okay, I want March like right now. Right now, it feels so far away, and I need this book in my life. When We Met by Shey Stahl is releasing on March 10th, and it already sounds like a super fun and extremely adorable story. Can not wait to read it! ❤
