Olive
Torres már megszokta, hogy ő az ikerpár peches fele. Mintha átok sújtaná: olyan

magát a pokoli nap előtt, elhatározza, bátor képet vág hozzá, és az egészet
átvészeli. De a komplett násznép ételmérgezést kap, Olive és Ethan kivételével,
így aztán átmenetileg muszáj nekik fegyverszünetet kötniük, hogy Hawaiira
utazhassanak. Végül is tíz felhőtlen nap megéri, hogy az ember belebújjon a
friss házasok bőrébe, nem igaz? De furcsa módon Olive mintha nem is bánná, hogy
bele kell helyezkednie a szerepbe. Mintha minél inkább tettetné, hogy ő a
legszerencsésebb nő a világon, annál inkább úgy érezné, hogy tényleg ez az
igazság.
Christina Lauren romantikus-humoros regénye, a The Unhoneymooners, a XXI. Század kiadó gondozásában itthon is meg fog jelenni Nem mézes hetek címmel. A magyar kiadás már kapott fülszöveget, borítót, sőt, már azt is tudjuk, hogy 2022. február 22.-től lesz megvásárolható a kötet.
A regény külföldön hatalmas sikernek örvend, én ugyan még nem olvastam, viszont a kis ismertető alapján egész jónak ígérkezik.
Én nagyon örülök neki, hogy a kiadó megtartotta az eredeti borítót, szerintem kifejezetten szép, és ráadásul, ha engem kérdeztek, már-már ikonikussá is vált ennek a kötetnek a külseje. Az egyetlen dolog, ami nem annyira tetszik nekem a magyar borítón az a cím betűtípusa. A színekkel nincs bajom, tetszik, hogy megtartották az eredeti kék-fekete kombinációt, viszont nekem a stílusa kicsit olyan unalmas. Az eredeti sem volt túldíszítve, de mégis volt benne valami különleges. Ettől eltekintve tényleg nagyon örülök, hogy ezzel a szép borítóval fog a magyar könyvesboltok polcaira kerülni ez a regény. ❤

Blurb:
Olive

into her future boss, the little white lie she tells him is suddenly at risk to
become a whole lot bigger. She and Ethan now have to pretend to be loving
newlyweds, and her luck seems worse than ever. But the weird thing is that she
doesn’t mind playing pretend. In fact, she feels kind of... lucky.
The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren will be released in Hungary too. The Hungarian edition already has a blurb, a cover and we also know that it will be published on February 28th, 2022.
Unfortunately I have not read it yet, but the blurb sounds really promising, this book has been on my to-be-read list for so long now, fingers crossed I will be able to read it soon.
The publisher of the Hungarian translation kept the original cover, and this just makes me so happy. I really do think that this is such a pretty cover, and if you ask me, it is kinda iconic too. The one and only thing I dislike about the Hungarian cover is the font of the title. I do not have a problem with the colours, I actually really like that they also kept the blue-black palette, but the font is just, how should I say this, a little bit boring for me? The original is not super fancy either, but still, there is something special about it, and I feel that the Hungarian title is missing that little bit of something special. Otherwise, I am truly so happy that we will get this book with this gorgeous cover. ❤
