A Rosszak Listája | The Naughty List

Sziasztok! :)

Ma egy igazán különleges bejegyzéssel érkeztem; én és az egyik kedves barátnőm (Instagramon @shitofareaderslife felhasználónévvel találhatjátok meg, katt ide ha meg szeretnétek nézni a blogját is) úgy döntöttünk, hogy a decemberi hónap során minden héten kedden és szombaton egy-egy tematikus posztot fogunk közzétenni. A mai a The Naughty List, azaz A Rosszak Listája címet kapta, amelybe a kedvenc, valamint a várólistás gyűlöletből-szerelem témájú regényeinket fogjuk bemutatni nektek. Én a kedvenceimmel fogom kezdeni, ezekhez írni fogok egy rövidebb ajánlást is, és ezek után láthatjátok majd felsorolva azokat a könyveket, amelyek nálam még váratnak magukra. A regényeket teljesen random sorrendben fogom felsorolni.

Today, I brought you a very special post; me and one of my dear friends (you can find her as @shitofareaderslife on Instagram, and click here if you want to check out her blog) decided to do a bookish challenge for the month of December. We came up with the topics together, and we will bring you two bookish themed posts every week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Today’s topic is titled The Naughty List, and in these posts, we will show you our favourite and and want-to-read enemies to lovers romances.

First, I will show you my favourites and I will add mini reviews to those, and then I will show you my enemies to lovers TBR list in photo collages. I am going to show you my picks for today’s topic in a completely random order.

↠ The Royals (Erin Watt)

❝ “You’re poking a tiger.”

I shrug. “He poked me first.”

Callum shakes his head. “And I thought raising five boys was an adventure. I haven’t seen anything yet, have I?” ❞

 

Erin Watt The Royals sorozatát még évekkel ezelőtt olvastam magyarul, de azóta is élénken él bennem a történet, egyszerűen még mindig az egyik legnagyobb kedvencem a gyűlöletből-szerelem kategóriában. Amikor megbeszéltük a decemberi témákat ehhez a bejegyzéssorozathoz, és felhozódott ez is, akkor egyből a Royal fiúk jutottak az eszembe. És most, hogy így írom ezt a posztot rájöttem, hogy lassan ideje lennem sort keríteni egy újraolvasásra is. Évekkel ezelőtt is imádtam, és még most sem tudok betelni velük. 

I have read The Royals series by Erin Watt back when I used to read only in Hungarian, and I still remember this story so vividly, this is one of my biggest favourites in the enemies to lovers trope. When we were discussing the topics for December and this theme got mentioned, the Royals like just instantly came to my mind. And now, while writing this post, I realized that I really miss these characters, and I need a reread. I adored this series when I read it for the very first time, and I still can not get enough of it.

 

 

↠ Night Huntress (Jeaniene Frost)

❝ “So do you remember this place?”

“Hard to forget.” he snorted. “This is where you tried to kill me. You were so nervous, you kept blushing. Never had someone try to stake me who blushed so much.” ❞

 

Ha jól emlékszem, Jeaniene Frost Cat és Bones című alkotás volt az első ilyen vámpíros-paranormális sorozat, amit valaha olvastam. Még mindig emlékszem, hogy mielőtt elkezdtem volna olvasni, én valami nagyon darkos történetre számítottam, és tényleg vannak benne ilyen jelenetek is, sőt, nem is egy, de a lényeg az, hogy hatalmas meglepetés volt számomra, mennyire jó humorérzékkel rendelkeznek ezek a karakterek. Ha valami olyanra vágytok, ami garantáltan mosolyt csal az arcotokra, akkor mindenképpen megéri egy esélyt adni ennek a sorozatnak is.

 

If I remember well, the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost was the very first vampire paranormal romance I have ever read. I still remember that before I started reading it, I thought this would would be some kind of a super dark romance, and indeed, there are darker scenes in it, but I was so surprised that the characters have such a good sense of humour. If you want something that will make you smile, then I think you should give this series a chance.

 

 

↠ The Risk (Elle Kennedy)

❝ “Yes, I’m still playing. But I saw your text and wanted to make sure you’re not in danger.”

“Why would I be in danger?”

“Because you said good luck. I assumed someone was holding a gun to your head.” ❞

 

Elle Kennedy Off-Campus sorozata a mai napig az egyik legnagyobb kedvencem, ha bármikor bárki sportos-romantikus ajánlást kér tőlem, akkor ez biztos az elsők között lesz, amit megemlítek. Éppen ezért is örültem annyira, amikor az írónő bejelentette, hogy jön a spin-off sorozat, a Briar U. Ugyan még csak két kötetet olvastam, de azt már most nyugodtan ki merem jelenteni, hogy a The Risk a legnagyobb kedvencem az írónőtől. 

 

The Off-Campus series by Elle Kennedy is still one of my biggest favourites, if anyone asks me for sport romance recommendations, this will be one of the very first series I will ask them to check out. That is why I was so happy when the author announced that she is going to publish the spin-off titled Briar U. I have only read two books from this series, but I can honestly say that The Risk is my biggest favourite by Elle Kennedy.

 

↠ Filthy Gods (R. Scarlett)

❝ I examined the risks and you’re worth the fall. ❞

 

R. Scarlett írónőnek már nagyon régóta hatalmas rajongója vagyok, a Filthy Gods című regényét annyira szeretem, hogy már többször is újraolvastam. Egy kicsit elszomorít, hogy még mindig nincs folytatása az American Gods sorozatnak, nagyon sok potenciált látok benne, remélem, hogy hamarosan többet is olvashatunk majd ezekről a lenyűgöző karakterekről.

A Filthy Gods az American Gods bevezető története, teljesen lezárt, szóval bátran ajánlom mindenkinek, aki egy rövid, de jó gyűlöletből-szerelem témájú sztorira vágyik. 

I have been a huge fan of R. Scarlett’s work for years now, Filthy Gods is still one of my biggest favourite novels, I have reread it multiple times, so yeah, I really love this short story. It makes me sad that we still do not have more books in the American Gods series, I do think that it has so much potential in it, I hope we get to read more about these wonderful characters soon.

Filthy Gods is the prelude to the American Gods series, it does not end on a cliffhanger, so I can highly recommend this to anyone who wants to read a short but good enemies to lovers romance.

 

 

↠ Dear Love, I Hate You (Eliah Greenwood)

❝ Zac: Remember when I said no girl could ever keep my attention?

Love: Yeah?

My heart flutters with anticipation.

Zac: I think I was wrong. ❞

 

Eliah Greenwood Dear Love, I Hate You című regényének teljes mértékben sikerült lenyűgöznie engem. Idén áprilisban olvastam, és már akkor tudtam, hogy ez lesz a 2021-es olvasmányaim egyik fénypontja, és ez most sem gondolom másképp. Ha egy igazán jó középiskolában játszódó gyűlöletből-szerelem kötetre vágytok, akkor érdemes ennek is adni egy esélyt.

Dear Love, I Hate You by Eliah Greenwood completely mesmerised me. I have read it in April, and after I finished it I just knew that it would be one of the best novels I have read in 2021, and I still think that it is one of the bests. If you want to read an enemies to lovers in a high school setting, then I can highly recommend this one to you.

 

 

↠ Rhapsodic (Laura Thalassa)

❝ I can’t believe I’m about to say this. “How did you feel, leaving me?” I ask.

He holds my gaze. “Like my soul was ripped in two.” ❞

 

Laura Thalassa Rhapsodic című alkotása egyszerűen lebilincselő, ha szeretitek a paranormális regényeket, akkor szerintem ez is nagyon gyorsan el fogja nyerni a tetszéseteket. Nekem most ennek a bejegyzésnek a megírása tökéletes volt arra, hogy rájöjjek, mely könyveket szeretném újraolvasni. A Rhapsodic jelenleg az újraolvasási lista legtetején áll. Azt fontos itt megjegyeznem, hogy a Rhapsodic a The Bargainer sorozat nyitókötete, ezen kívül még három könyvön keresztül követhetjük végig Des és Callie kalandjait.

Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa is a fascinating and gripping story, if you are a fan of paranormal romances, then I think you will quickly fall in love with this story too. Writing this blog post made me realize that I want to reread so many books, I basically made a rereading list, and Rhapsodic is on the top of that list.

It is important to mention that Rhapsodic is the first book in The Bargainer series, and Des and Callie’s story does not end here, you can read about them in three more novels.

 

↠ Bound by Hatred (Cora Reilly)

❝ “You weren’t worried about sleeping beside Aria when she still despised you, so why should I?”

“You can’t compare Aria to Gianna. They are like two different species. And I trust Aria absolutely. She caught a fucking bullet for me.”

“Must be nice,” I muttered. “Gianna would probably applaud my shooter.” ❞

 

Ha egy olyan történetre vágytok, amiben aztán tényleg nagyon erősen jelen van a gyűlölet a két főszereplő között, akkor ajánlom figyelmetekbe Cora Reilly Bound by Hatred című alkotását, mert ez aztán gyűlöletből-szerelem a javából. Én nagyon szeretem az írónő regényeit, nekem személy szerint ez sem okozott csalódást, végig izgultam az egészet.

If you are in a mood for a story that focuses a lot on the hate aspect between the main characters, then I can highly recommend Bound by Hatred by Cora Reilly to you, because with this book she took enemies to lovers to a whole new level. I really love her novels, Gianna and Matteo’s story did not disappoint, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it.

 

 

↠ Blackest Gold (R. Scarlett)

❝ “You’re going to destroy me, sweetheart.” Tensley muttered. “Unless I destroy you first.” ❞

A mai listát egy R. Scarlett alkotással zárnám, ez pedig nem más, mint a Blackest Gold sorozat. Azt tudni kell rólam, hogy én nem szeretek olyan regényeket olvasni, amelyek egyes szám harmadik személyben íródtak, ennek az az oka, hogy így nagyon nehéznek találom a történetre, valamint a szereplőkre való hangolódást, ezért kerülöm az ilyen könyveket. A Blackest Gold sorozat mondjuk pont egy ilyen, de ennek ellenére teljesen levett a lábamról. Ez még engem is meglepett, egyszerűen arabul ejtett ez a történet.

 

And last, but not least, one of my favourite enemies to lovers series is Blackest Gold by R. Scarlett. I do not like to read books that are written in third person singular, I just find it so hard to connect to the story and characters this way, so I tend to avoid these novels. But Blackest Gold is a series written in third person, and it totally swept me off my feet. This was a surprising experience for me, it is such a captivating story.

 

 

És most nem is húznám tovább az időt, mutatom azokat a gyűlöletből-szerelem regényeket, amelyeket már nagyon régóta el szeretnék olvasni.
